I am still confused , when did Shanno fall in love with Mehru. I mean that when he sent his brother to jail, he told his mother that it was a plan, and we assumed that he kept meeting Mehru as a plan. Was it really like that in the beginning and changed into love when they were in the hospital?

In my opinion, he is still not at that deep intense wala love. He was always attracted to her, even now I don't think he has realised that intense love, he is very attracted to her and wants her in his life by hook or by crook and also wants to get his brother free. The more time he spent with her, the more attractive she became to him but he is yet to feel that desperate intense love for her which I think will only come after marriage.

If he's willing to destroy his relationship with his flesh and blood(mamu) by cheating on his only daughter, for attraction . I wonder what he'll do when he's intensely in love with her

For someone who is so morally upright, I hope she tells him how she doesn't respect/think much of a man who proposes another woman while still engaged to another. Her brother's case is personal. But her character will go down the drain if she completely forgets about Amal and that very public engagement she gatecrashed!

So, the attraction was always there, but it turned to likeness. I am happy that he didn't resist his feelings.. but I feel the same like you.. that his love needs to be more intense, as he is a person who is used to get what he wants. And he is still morally wrong for proposing her while is engaged to another girl.

Don't let it affect you, enjoy the show, the couple. Their growth has been organic and its a fun show. Don't allow a third person to affect your enjoyment. It is their own insecurities that drive them.
