But I like the fact he's trimmed it a little in the later pics(or maybe it's the dressing). Otherwise kuch pics me samaj nahi aa raha tha ke chhati kaha khatm hoti thi aur gala kaha se shuru hota tha

I dont think it's possible to force mehru to get married to him. He will either send rista directly to her mother and emotionally blackmail her or create circumstances where she relectey agrees. Mehru only cares about what her family thinks as she agreed to marry rafey even though she barely looks at him. So if her mother tells her to marry him she might agree. She does feel attracted to him unlike rafey. If she can agree to marry rafey who is not even as important as peed podhe to her then agreeing to marry shanno is an upgrade.
