I don’t know what you guys are applauding him for. The guy has zero acting skills and built his entire career on SSR sympathy wave and imitating Akshay Kumar. Wherever you go the most popular comment about him is- yeah he is not good at acting but I will still support him for being an outsider and not let him be another Sushant Singh Rajput. Still he cannot do zilch without the stalwarts like Tabu, Vidya and Madhuri backing him up. And the guy has a huge backing of the Tseries head honcho a true blue nepo kid Bhushan. With this much support from the insiders, he still floats himself as someone with no support and keeps on riding the sympathy wave shamelessly.

I loved his acting in Freddie and CC. Cannot say he cannot act that’s a phrase applicable to Siddharth Malhotra. BW doesn’t always need a full package. Hrithik, Akki and few other stars prove that.

This guy’s outsider, extremely good looking, sweet, has great hair . Why not give him chance to shine ? Otherwise I see it’s filled with nepo kids and garbage. Kids like Karthik or Kriti with mediocre acting chops actually are better for the balance.

Reminds me of Maqbool - Power ka santoolan bane rehna chahiye.

What power ka santulan? The guy has a huge backing of Tseries. You think he would’ve been able to pull off this huge clash on his own? Upar se SSR and Neeche se Bhushan are his keys to luring in the audience.

Kriti never shamelessly positions herself as an outsider and gaslights the audience btw.

From where did he get the backing of TSeries ? Isn’t it earned by him ? This is same debate that we had for SRK for his association with YRF or Dharma. These outsiders earn it and deserve it IMO.

I will give him that. But my biggest pet peeve about him is his self victimization and positioning himself as an outsider and literally gets away with everything just because he is an outsider and is allowed to overindulge just because apparently he needs to do it to survive in this big bad world. What about the talent and quality of the films? Why is that not a part of the conversation? As a viewer how does it matter to us if a good movie was coming from an insider or outsider? How do we even know who is a true blue outsider or insider other than the apparent ones because of their parents or lineage?

One of the worst movies I’ve seen, there’s no horror, no comedy, nothing exciting or remotely interesting. First half was a test of patience, like making Malika do random mysterious faces regarding manjulika, and same with Meera making curious faces but never landing into anything specific. Rooh baba is the worse character to lead a horror comedy, the guy is not brave, nor he’s a psychic, neither does he have intuitions, all he did was get random dreams and try to run away.

Anjulika tried to bring some interest in an otherwise a monotonous flat screenplay and for once I thought they’ll show sisterly clash but no, the both sisters try to strangle each other but then nothing happens.

After 2 hours of lame and unfunny jokes and no contribution from the otherwise good characters like chota pandit, they come to the climax where it was the worst acting of Karthik as the girl prince, like bad wig, makeup and dancing, WTF was that? Wasn’t there anything better to make him look convincing as the character?

And why did chota pandit jump like Jawan suddenly?

What crap wa this? Wasted Vidya and madhuri. The two women looked so good in the song which was the only good thing in this crappy sequel.

Pretty sure he gets away with everything (I don't think he does) because look at his mainstream bollywood peer group - Tiger, Arjun Kapoor, Sid, etc.

Why wouldn't people prefer him

Also what exactly has he done where he has openly played the outsider victim card. Are we just basing this on PR and blinds ?

More reviews and they mixed !! Wonder it’s same theater or is it just that Burger King happens to be there at these theaters
