Yeah clearly the ratings aren’t great but the scene with Bilal and Sadaf’s first meet and the eye contact scene are one of the most watched and liked reels on instagram. They need more scenes together. The stories that they are concentrating on are not a recipe for high ratings.

Same! It was off, plus her dad was so close to Bilal, I imagined him to be more empathetic. I was not impressed with the makeup either. She should have gone with bare face, it was her dad's funeral.

Well he was just an employee at the end of the day so I am not bothered by Bilal’s reaction. I don’t care about makeup but there is something that’s just not clicking with them so far . As separate characters, Bilal and Sadaf are fine but together i am not really invested.

I was bothered about the makeup for sure. Even for me, the first impact wasn't that great. Hopefully, there meeting at his office will be better. But the speed is super slow!

I liked their first scene. I thought it was done well. It was shown in the previews and there were a million edits on it so it’s like we had already seen it by the time it aired. Plus that was it, we didn’t get anymore from the two of them. I did like when he was thinking back to the moment, we got a different part of the song in the background. I liked how he looked like he was trying to figure out what he was feeling.

Yeah the makeup on both ladies could have been more toned down but it didn’t take me out of the scene.

The biggest things working against the show is the slow pace, lack of Wahaj and focusing on storylines that are not the main plot. I get that they are necessary and lead us into the main plot but far too much time is being spent on these scenes.

I’m hoping now that Sadaf will start working there, we can focus on that part of the story. Like Aamna said (can’t believe I’m quoting her 🙄) that it feels like the story is starting now. I know she didn’t like that Humsha was in the scene but I think she’ll very much be a part of his life.

Of course we still have Sadaf dealing with the revelation but honestly all of that could have happened in the last episode.

There are some nice scenes coming up between Bilal and Sadaf so I’m looking forward to those.

All reviewers have separately also pointed out Maya’s makeup being too loud. Funeral pe tou obviously it’s a lot but generally also I feel it’s too much.
