Gen 4 characters of YRKKH are actually great!

I don’t feel like in Poddar family atleast there is any unless characters. All characters and actors are well needed. Imagine the show without any one of them. Would be pretty boring. Other seasons had many characters but a few unless or not needed ones and hence killing of was easier for leap.

Gen3, they killed of an entire generation so let’s not even talk about it

But Gen 4, hope everyone is safe and alive. I like all of their characters

The story don't have anything outside of Poddar house and it's outhouse yaar, that's why it feels as if all the characters are needed.

No workplace bonds (R_H_N ❤️ great senior-junior dynamic), no friend circle outside of the family (Naira's friends Trisha and lisa literally had their own tracks but bad ones still it added to the story + Naitik's ex sneha provided stuff for the story by bringing kuhu and much more) and no outside rivalry be it professional or personal.

Edit: If they explore more, Vi and Madhav can be eliminated Roru can also join the list if they're bound to flip for the sake of story 😂 🙃

Yeah! Because all other generations had 2 families of both male and female leads but here. It’s just the Poddars and Goenka, they’re rarely shown. As all dramas are just in Poddars, each member seems important.

Season 1 had Singhania’s and Maheshwari + Mohit mom and Naitik cousin

Season 2 had Singhania, Maheshwari and Goenka + Sirat

Season 3 had Goenka and Birla

Season 4 only has Poddar family (and random here and there scenes of Goenka)
