I cannot feel sorry for him after what he did to Aishwarya. Had he not cheated on her and abused her, they likely would have been married and because Aishwarya is India's national treasure, these underworld goons would never go after Aishwarya's husband. That is how deep the love Indians have for Aish is that the underworld would have spared him for her sake alone.

If Salman had been good to Aish, her stature and public goodwill towards her would have protected him but his karma is giving him what he deserves. Sorry not sorry. In the next life perhaps he can make it up to her.
