Growing pains hmmmmmmm

Whatever shady things producers or directors do, there still is a movie that tells a story...and I'm interested in the story and how the characters get performed (even though I may loath the shady things done). It's a bit like a book where I don't know the personality of the writer but can fully enjoy the book's content. To me, movies tell stories in another way than books do and I'm able to separate the movie from the maker as long as the maker doesn't publicly admit to use a movie for own manipulating ways (like Vanga did with Animal)...but that is another story...
