sharjeena losing her job would have been much better now that you have mentioned. that would have given more scope to her character development.

i don’t have much hope too but i am still kinda looking forward to it. the thing is they’ve developed both as a couple so well that it works even though sharjeena has not shown much growth as a character. but it would be infinitely times better if she did in the upcoming episodes. the one character arc i am highly disappointed about is adeel tbh. i expected him to be a grey shaded character with high morals but the way they’ve made him completely negative is just lazy writing. even with rubab they have resorted to same.

Adeel and Rubab are basically caricatures now. Which I feel is disappointing especially with Adeel because Emmad would have absolutely nailed a proper grey role. Now it’s more comic relief. Still has entertainment value of course, I absolutely LOVE his scenes, but you can’t help but wish it was more nuanced. Potential was there.

And it would have been something SHE goes through and Mustafa would have been the one being there for her. Role reversal ho jata thora.

yup nuanced writing is an alien concept to desi writers because lets be honest, majority of audience don’t appreciate such characters. they only want completely white and black & that’s really boring. both adeel & rubab had so much potential initially but they’ve been made into completely negative.

I never felt good about adeel because from the very first episode he came out as a self centred womaniser and I have a seperate kind of hatred for people like him, but I actually liked rubab before the whole chori kaand. She never disrespected anyone, atleast not on their faces- and we all have these kinds of relatives! The 'MEETHI CHURI' types...Her controlling nature was also explainable by the virtue of her parents' divorce when she was very young- the need to control everything so it does not fall apart. She actually never said anything to Sharjeena that was hurtful, but then suddenly one day she insults her brother in law literally out of nowhere! And they did that just to shape the chori arc, twisting the arc of rubab's character till then.

haan its like they had no other reason to show mustafa leaving the house other than this lol

khair even now she does have some scope of redemption honestly if she regrets her behaviour towards musjeena but adeel ke liye toh zero scope
