twitter par some people are unhappy ki they are showing sharjeena as ekdum perfect wife with no personality of her own & why she’s never angry or annoyed.

not realising that its her eldest daughter syndrome doing.

but we know she’s ultimately going to leave 😇

The writing is definitely Mustafa biased. You see his arc building and a darker turn coming. The catalyst for this turning point - him being called a thief in his own house - was given to him by the writer.

Sharjeena is just kind of there, providing support for HIM and being there for HIM. So yes this criticism absolutely makes sense to me. I love them together but Sharjeena doesn’t have an arc as such. She’s been pretty consistent throughout whereas it’s Mustafa who’s underdone the most change. It’s actually drastic change that you see happening.

Parts of writing really do annoy me. Farhat Ishtiaq is definitely more logical than most writers but by no means is she flawless or writing a balanced story here. It’s only the Sharjeena Mustafa bond that’s balanced and fresh with the performers doing it justice and beyond. Baki there are definitely issues in the story. Sharjeena’s character, Adeel’s arc, the marriage premise, Sharjeena’s annoying dad. These could have been better written

no i totally agree that the writing is more mustafa biased and we have such a well written character arc for him whereas in sharjeena’s case she’s still the same as she was in the beginning of the show.

however, i am actually reserving my final judgement regarding her character arc till we see the next phase of their relationship. because even though we haven’t seen any development in sharjeena’s character, her overworking & handling every responsibility like a pro without breaking a sweat is also on brand with being the eldest daughter in a desi household. so her character development is going to be about her finally losing patience & as of now i trust that the next phase of their relationship is going to focus on her.

Maybe. Tbh I am not keeping a lot of expectations from the latter half since I know most likely her character will follow along the lines of so many FL we have seen. There will be a fall out, a prolonged separation and naraazgi where she will have doubts and second guess herself and him, only to ultimately forgive the misunderstandings at the end and a HEA. For now I don’t see anything groundbreaking happening for her. For Mustafa yes, I see the arc and I see that it will be some significant change. It’s a learning curve for him. He will turn dark and once he has everything but still loses her, he will realize his assumptions were wrong and slowly come back to his OG self albeit improved and much richer hopefully.

Adeel’s arc is also clear. He will lose Rubab when the Natasha thing will be revealed and his frauds. Will probably will end up in jail because of the corruption he’s been doing. That has been set up with the FIL keeping tabs on him.

Magar unfortunately, Sharjeena ka kuch itna khaas nahi lag raha Mujhe. Look what the writer did to Rubab. Plot convenience ke liye she had Rubab leave the story temporarily just so Adeel’s arc can be properly set up. Personally all this could be achieved and would make Adeel look even more meesna had Rubab still been around. Right now it’s too easy for him. So yes writer is definitely male biased, I would say 😂

For the breakdown you’re mentioning, how interesting would it have been if it had been Sharjeena losing the job and not Mustafa? That might have done her in. But see… all the major changes and twists happen with Mustafa’s character only. It’s about HIM losing the job. It’s about HIM becoming rich somehow. Sharjeena ab aik accessory ban chuki hai.

Pretty sure writer ko kuch Aur samajh nahi aaya tou bus usse pregnant ker diya hai.

i don’t have much hope too but i am still kinda looking forward to it. the thing is they’ve developed both as a couple so well that it works even though sharjeena has not shown much growth as a character. but it would be infinitely times better if she did in the upcoming episodes. the one character arc i am highly disappointed about is adeel tbh. i expected him to be a grey shaded character with high morals but the way they’ve made him completely negative is just lazy writing. even with rubab they have resorted to same.
