Sharjeena is just kind of there, providing support for HIM and being there for HIM. So yes this criticism absolutely makes sense to me. I love them together but Sharjeena doesn’t have an arc as such. She’s been pretty consistent throughout whereas it’s Mustafa who’s underdone the most change. It’s actually drastic change that you see happening.
Parts of writing really do annoy me. Farhat Ishtiaq is definitely more logical than most writers but by no means is she flawless or writing a balanced story here. It’s only the Sharjeena Mustafa bond that’s balanced and fresh with the performers doing it justice and beyond. Baki there are definitely issues in the story. Sharjeena’s character, Adeel’s arc, the marriage premise, Sharjeena’s annoying dad. These could have been better written
