It is okay to get excited over one’s favourite actor on his birthday. But really, there is a limit to the amount of fan-tasizing humanly allowed.

On Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday, September 28, the word going around was, ‘Dhoom’. Excitable portals wrote that that RK is all set to do the fourth edition of Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom franchise.

But this morning, Zoom exclusively spoke to someone very close to Aditya Chopra who debunked the entire Ranbir-Dhoom narrative. “There has been no talk of Dhoom 4, let alone who will star in it. Aditya is not in a hurry to move on to Dhoom 4 unless there is a story that attracts him.Forget the screenplay, there is not even a germ of an idea for Dhoom yet. Whenever it is made it will be made with the original cast only.”

We also spoke to a close friend of Ranbir who said, “He will never do someone else’s franchise. Dhoom is not Ranbir’s scene at all.”

A report stated that the script for Dhoom 4 (Dhoom Reloaded) is being developed by YRF in collaboration with Vijay Krishna Acharya. Their ambition is to deliver a cinematic experience unlike any other with this new instalment.

The report also noted that filming is anticipated to commence in late 2025 or early 2026 and currently, casting discussions are taking place.

The should cast Kriti opposite him.

Ranbir never had boxoffice power, only relaying on mega projects, I can name at worst 5 actors of his generation who also could have had big success with Animal & Sanju
