as a father, murtaza’s worries are valid but his ways aren’t. he needs to understand that both are two consenting adults in a marriage & not some lost kids. the best thing for him to do now is show his silent support & assure them that he’s there whenever they need his help. i hate whenever he goes like “meri beti ko aise rakh raha waise rakh raha” as if he himself isn’t responsible for getting sharjeena and mustafa married. if this is just his guilt speaking for letting her marry a nikamma jobless ladka then he needs to be told that his daughter is staying with that guy because she’s very much in love with him & not just to fulfil her responsibilities of a dutiful wife.
