Alia,is the older sister.

A young male friend/ partner,helping her,rather than the old uncharismatic actor,would have kept it more interesting.

Disagree. Their bonding looks good. That actor is a solid actor. In Alia's movies supporting cast are always good which elevates the movie.

Young male friend diverts the attention and invariably romance angle comes in or assumed by the audience even if one sided.. Movie focus is on older sister saving younger brother and that is maintained.

better than the teaser (but still not much about Vedang)...started well paced but then - with the action scenes - the quick cuts that just show action.

We know why the brother gets arrested and we know that there will be a happy ending...it's the story telling in-between that makes the movie a success or not...I fear that it will lack surprise moments (but we'll see).
