Parichay(Introduction) Part 1

I dedicate this SS to my sweet friend Salley who wanted me to write a story taking inspiration from the movie Parichay.

Lalit and Seema's son and wife Ram and Priya passed away in an accident.Their daughters Meher and Purvika are looked after by them.But these 2 girls are so naughty that they never obey them.During the summer vacation,they hired a tuition teacher named Jeet to teach them.

Jeet was taking class for Meher and Purvika.But they were absent minded.

Jeet got angry:Meher...Purvika..I told you both many times to listen to my class while I am teaching.If you both continue like this,I will beat you with the cane.

Meher and Purvika got scared.

After the class....

Meher:Jeet Sir is very dangerous Purvika.

Purvika:But we can deal with him easily.Dadaji had brought so many tutors for us.But we succeeded in driving them away.We will throw him also out of this house.

They both smirked.

The next day...

Jeet entered the room to take class.Suddenly he got shocked seeing many mice in the room.The mice were jumping upon him.He ran away in fear.Meher and Purvika laughed seeing him run.

Jeet collided with Seema and Lalit's daughter Prarthana.

Jeet:I am sorry.While running it happened by mistake.

Prarthana:It's okay Sir.But why are you running?

Jeet:I am running to save myself.

Prarthana:What?

Jeet:The room is full of mice.

Prarthana:I know that they are sent by your nieces to attack me.They are notorious creatures.

Prarthana became dull and embarrassed.

Jeet:I am leaving.I will not return to this house.I had enough from these 2 notorious girls.

Jeet walked away.

Lalit and Seema shouted at Meher and Purvika.

Lalit:I brought so many tuition teachers for you both.But no teacher is able to tolerate you both.

Seema:How can you both do such a dirty thing to your Sir?

Meher and Purvika remain unaffected.

Prarthana:Mom..dad...please stop shouting at them.They are kids.

Seema:But you know what kind of activities they are doing.They don't behave like normal kids.

Prarthana felt upset.

Lalit started looking for another tutor.

Finally a teacher came.

Lalit talked to him.

Lalit:What's your name?

He:Raghuveer.

Lalit:What's your qualification?

Raghuveer:I have done PG.I am teaching in a public school.

Lalit:Were your students scared of you?

Raghuveer:No.They used to be very affectionate towards me.

Lalit:My grand daughters Meher and Purvika are very naughty.They need to be scared of their teacher.Only then they will study and become disciplined.

Raghuveer:I don't believe in scaring my students to teach them.But I will try my level best to teach them.I promise Sir.

Lalit:I hope you will be able to keep up your promise.Because it's not an easy job to tame my grand daughters.They are extremely naughty.

Raghuveer smiled.

Raghuveer entered the classroom which was set up for the kids.

He looked at Meher and Purvika:What are your names children?

Meher:I am Meher.

Purvika:I am Purvika.

Raghuveer:Lovely names.I am your new tuition teacher Raghuveer.

He sat on the chair.But both the chair and he fell down.Raghuveer noticed that the leg of the chair was broken.He saw Meher and Purvika trying hard to suppress their laughter.

He realized that the chair was broken by the kids to trouble him.Raghuveer got up as if nothing happened.He felt back pain.So he decided to take rest for one day.

Raghuveer:You both relax.Today is the first day.I am not going to take any class today.

Meher and Purvika smiled happily.

Prarthana came there with snacks.Raghuveer looked at her.

Prarthana:Sir,I am their aunt Prarthana.These snacks are for you.

Raghuveer:Thanks.I will have it later.Now I am leaving.

Suddenly she noticed the broken chair.

Raghuveer walked towards the verandah. He noticed that his sandals were torn.He realized that Meher and Purvika did it when he was talking to Lalit.

Prarthana felt embarrassed.

Prarthana:I know that the kids troubled you on the first day itself.I apologize to you on their behalf.

Raghuveer:It's okay.They are children.It's normal.

Prarthana smiled as it's the first teacher who did not get angry with the kids seeing their mischief.

Raghuveer:Okay...bye!

Prarthana smiled:Bye!

Raghuveer walked out.

The girls are quite a handful. Lets see what they will do with Jeet.

Jeet did not last long. Raghuveer is so patient though. The girls will run out of ideas soon.

Omg, Jeet threatened these naughty girls that he will beat them. By Meher Purvika scene I was reminded of a scene in saath nibhana saathiya where Tolu Molu and Pappu decided to drive away the strict teacher who was teaching Meera strictly. Room being full of mice was hilarious. Tame granddaughters? Haha. Raghuveer's scenes with Meher and Purvika were funny. Perfect pics, thnx for dedication, waiting for next eagerly

The next day Raghuveer came to teach the children.

Seema asked him:Why did'nt you take class yesterday?

Raghuveer:Since yesterday was the first day I decided not to take any class.

Seema:Are you sure?Or you did'nt take class as you wanted to rest because of body ache?

Raghuveer was stunned.

Raghuveer:What are you saying Ma'am?

Prarthana:Seeing the condition of the chair itself I understood that you had fallen down.When you went back home soon I realized that after the fall you had body pain and that's why you went back fast.

Raghuveer lied:I did not sit there to fall down.So I did not have any body pain.They are good children.They did not trouble me at all.

Lalit:You are the first tutor who defended my naughty grand daughters.

Seema:Exactly.Everybody complains about them.But you are praising them.You are very special.

Lalit:Yes.You are very different from the other teachers who taught them.So I have hope now that you will be able to change them.

Raghuveer smiled slightly.

Raghuveer went to the classroom.Meher and Purvika were sitting there with their books open.He looked at the wall.A picture was stuck there.In that a donkey with spectacles was reading a book.

Under the picture it was written 'The New teacher'.

Raghuveer smiled:Wow!What a cute picture!I think it's written that it's my picture.I did'nt know that I was looking so cute.

Purvika and Meher were stunned by his reaction.

Meher:Are you not angry?

Raghuveer:Why should I be angry with you both when I am presented as a cute cartoon character?

Purvika and Meher smiled.

Raghuveer:How did you know that I will come now?

Purvika:Those 2 oldies told us.

Raghuveer:Which oldies?

Meher and Purvika were silent.

Raghuveer:Lalit Sir and Seema Ma'am?

They nodded.

Raghuveer:Why are you calling them oldies?

Purvika:Because they are old.

Raghuveer:They are your grand parents.Your father's parents.So you should never address them as oldies.Okay?

Meher and Purvika kept silent.

Raghuveer:Anyways today I am not going to read the text book and bore you.Instead of that I will tell you both a story.So close your books.

Meher and Purvika were surprised.They closed their books happily.

Raghuveer narrated them a story and they enjoyed it.

Lunch was served on the table.

Raghuveer washed his face and hands and wiped his face with the towel.Then he went to the dining room.Prarthana,Seema and the children laughed seeing his face.

Raghuveer:Why everyone is laughing?

Meher:Your face looks funny Sir.

Raghuveer:What?

Seema:Your face is full of colour.

Raghuveer was stunned.

Lalit:Meher...Purvika...you both have crossed the limit.I know that this is done by both of you.You both have to be punished.

Meher-Purvika became upset.

Raghuveer:No Sir.It's not their fault.

Lalit:Please stop defending them.

Prarthana:He is saying the truth dad.Actually I was making a painting.Before washing my hands,I wiped my hands and thus the towel became dirty with the paint.I forgot to remove the towel from there.Without knowing that Raghuveerji used that towel to wipe his face.

Seema looked at Prarthana:How can you be so careless Prarthana?

Prarthana looked at Raghuveer and said:I am sorry.

She walked away.

In the classroom...

Purvika and Meher looked guilty.

Purvika:We are sorry sir.It's not Prarthana bua who did it.We only did it.

Meher:Today morning before you came only,we put colour on the towel.Because we thought that like other teachers you will start yelling at us in the beginning of the class itself.But you were sweet to us.

Purvika:You are going to beat us.Right?

Raghuveer smiled.

Raghuveer:Who told you that I am going to beat both of you?

Purvika:That's what all the teachers have done to us till now.

Raghuveer:No.I am not going to beat both of you.

Meher-Purvika were surprised:Really?

Raghuveer:Yes.

They both smiled happily.

Seema and Lalit went near Raghuveer.

Seema:The children are troubling you a lot.Right?

Raghuveer:Nothing like that.

Lalit:We have given them everything.They don't lack anything.I don't understand why they are like this.

Raghuveer:They lack an important thing.

Lalit and Seema were stunned.

Seema:What do they lack?
