Exactly. People in corporate sectors are often underpaid in India. Cab operators and tourist vehicle drivers earn much more than them and during seasons their income goes even higher.

It all depends on the level of work if the work is just routine data entry sitting inside an aircon office .. you can get many people doing it , why should corporates pay highly ..

in NZ a regular plumber earns more than a regular doctor .. who is working in public hospitals… I know it because I have close friends who are doctors in NZ ..
