The release date was awkward. And the promotion was sus. They pushed Tiger 3, so that Pathaan would come out earlier. It was just a mess — the whole Tiger 3 situation.

Yes, it was. But Tiger series is the biggest franchise of Bollywood, so the expectation was some sort of a blockbuster business. YRF really didn't help matters despite it being their biggest film.

After Bunty Aur Babli 2 flopped, I don't think Saif will be replacing AB Jr in anything again. Plus he isn't a big enough star to lead two franchises between Race and Dhoom.
