Yeah PTV dramas do get more craze then this one. This one is super hit but not mega hit like Tb, Mere humsafar, mere pass tum ho, ishq murshad etc.

We may get 25-35 episodes. Yeah due to craze makers do drag the dramas by adding flashbacks.

Adeel has surpassed all levels of jealousy and pettiness. At this point I don’t even think he has a single ounce of love and affection for his brother. Zerooooo love hai. Also jaisi bhi hai Rubab, she is right on the money keh something fishy is going on with Adeel (which we know it is) so her being insecure every 2 seconds and looking for reaffirmation of their non existent love makes sense. This relationship has a foundation of greed and control so it’s bound to collapse.

Adeel is here for his DAD. But majaal hai aik bhi scene Abba ke saath ho 😂 All he does is ogle Sharjeena and Mustafa’s relationship. And it’s transcended into creepy level now. Itna bhi Kya obsession.

Coming to Sharjeena and Mustafa - I love them? But it also simultaneously feels like a nicely packaged regressive storyline I love to watch? End of the day it’s the same bakwaas storyline that woman can change nakaara husband by being a saint. The premise is a bit unrealistic for this kind of outcome and I don’t enjoy the perfection writer has chosen for Sharjeena. This level of patience and sacrifice is not relatable (maybe 1% of women can relate lol). There are moments the writer finds in every episode to make me uncomfortable. Yesterday it was the diverted blame from the man that it’s not his uncleanliness that’s bothersome but something else has the woman tortured (maybe he could be the reason too? Or should be?). Also the constant “doing this or that is not your headache” and “do you need help in the kitchen” etc but it would be a stronger statement if the writer has the man actually help as well or take some stand. The borderline toxic (and preachy from the writer) overindulging by Sharjeena seems hard to swallow. Girl doesn’t even go to the bathroom and runs straight to the kitchen after work like some robot. Nobody is this perfect and already the damaging narrative of “this is what GIRLS need to do to make marriage work” - Nadia Khan already went onnnn and onnnn about it in her review for kya drama hai 🤦🏻‍♀️

So the regressive elements are not for me. BUT the story is saved but the bad guys in this show - I love to hate them allll - and the cute relationship between Mustafa and Sharjeena. The little things make it a special one and I’m rooting for them. Like I said, I can’t resist the pretty packaging no matter what the “message” seems to be 🙈

So it retains the original vision of the writer.
