Modijee seems very serious about 2036. He officially announced India's interest to host it in the meet and greet with Olympics contingent and they are apparently creating infrastructure in Gujarat? If we improve our medal tally and specifically get atleast 4+ golds in the next one..hopefully Bharat can host it without feeling stupid about our underwhelming performance in Olympics.

So 2028 is LA, 2032 is Brisbane..though India hosting is subject to no political changes and Modijee will be 87 by then, so who knows the next PM in 4-5 years' time will be interested or not.
