I can recall only one ITV couple from the top of my head that actually got the trope of being married yet falling apart emotionally & mentally and it's Devakshi from KRPKAB. The premise of the third season was their marriage became stagnant and they grew apart, despite living together and raising their children together. They were so in love but had forgotten how to express that love and eventually started marriage counselling sessions which helped them. Eventually they went back to how they used to be and reignited their spark once again!

Even Rishta Gen 1 had this track of Naksh growing apart and then rekindling their romance

I would love if they do something similar with Abhimaan rather than going for Dramatic separation
