Also I think Neeraj's fouls post the second throw..were him trying to go above 90 metres and making mistakes....he did a 89 plus in the qualification so I dont think his second throw was a fluke either..both qualification and his winning throw from yesterday was his season's best...he usually hits 87-88..he did better than that for Olympics..unlike some of our totally useless athletes who regressed from SB in athletics by a mile.. But he has LA 2028 as well..and lets hope between 24 and 28..we will see NC in every game/ tournament bettering his best. The man has been in top 2 in some last 10 odd games if I am not wrong..he is perhaps the greatest athlete from Modern India sofar.
We are so wrapped up around neeraj that we forgot webber etc. They had thrown 90 m yet couldn't do 87 yesterday. Everyone got nervous by 93 m. Obviously neeraj was under more pressure being prv gold medalist, Pakistani rival, mental block of not crossing 90 ms, injury
