I am all for mental health awareness..but I actually think our players need to get tougher and no more pampering or sugar plum baccha thing...we lost 5 medals..where in most cases..it was because of self doubt or not having enough self belief..IDK when I will get over Lakshya's matches..but thats pretty much the prime example of simply not believing what he was achieving or fighting devils in his mind? I think thats what even Prakash P said..that Viktor can say..but Lakshya himself needs to realize that too! Nishant's case was different because he lost because of bad judgement..Hockey players - I watched the whole match later..and we could not capitalize a lot of PCs despite the boys actually getting more number of circle p than Germany, which means..we made mistakes under pressure.now for the athletes..India in general makes mega heroes out of sport stars..and if they do even win a bronze..they get brand endorsements, achieve celebrity status almost instantly..I think the biggest opportunity for a ground breaking moment would have been Hockey in finals..that would have revived the sport in India just like 1983 WC for Cricket..
