Yeah.. its better they dont go into that zone - say, some treatment shown with a psychologist. Can actually be damaging for real life people with similar conditions, with the twisted dialogues and treatment suggestions they are likely to write.

Hmmm hi lal Salam fir ur update
Kkkkkkkshhhhhhh aaj anu ka dialog "aaoney bhi mere zindagi mein accha hi Kiya " kskskkkkkk
Really anruta then why r u thinking of leaving him? ??????
Trust me these lines will be written with golden letters in the history of this serial
We are not just the 'driksakshi' but also the 'raktasakshi' of "aaaalll the gooood things" he has done in her life... especially "marrying" her and giving her full time employment opportunities... that too multiple times.
After watching the episode, I realized Babs' upbringing and continuous manipulation made both Virat and Nimmi the way they are. It is evident how weak Virat is. He was guilty, vulnerable, and helpless. I expected a better reaction from him. He could have beaten that moron black and blue, then called the police and consoled Nimmi.
He has to be strong. No wonder his behavior in the Mela fiasco and with his ex's reentry..He wants someone's support to fight and seeks that support from Amu. He is supposed to be an arrogant, ruthless businessman, but his behavior is more like an immature child-man. Disappointing.
Amu needs to rely on her own strength and fight her battle alone.....shouldn't expect anything from Virat.
Yeah... he is trouble. Only thing is it is consistent with his character. I dont remember exactly but think I mentioned it when the bts came up that he will make it about himself. So not at all surprising. and goes with the character.
Downside is they are supposed to make him 'acceptable' for Ammu and they have imo failed in doing so. Yeah they can force things with her dialogues like the one in the ep and brain freeze chem moments... works with students but not believable.
PS: And its fine to be that way. With proper handling of the character he can be made acceptable and interesting. We already knew he is a 'broken man from a previous relationship'.. so no surprises he has some issues going on. But then they have to bring in brain freeze moments and chem lessons when it would've been better if the leads behaved almost like 'inert gases'.
Like is not enough for this post. Agree with almost every word
In terms of VSA character I once again repeat my support for actors. Arjit may be given a character who has many writer flaws but Arjit acted out many emotions well.
Some comments on X do make sense when they say VSA & Nimmi have been manipulated their whole life. It takes time & difficult to break Babita hold on family.
VSA character we say remains very much the same. My observation we see some growth and control. If we remember the accident night & many burst out before. There was no way to help VSA anger. Today we saw Amu able to help his emotions by stopping table and in breakdown in room. Agreed it did come across like Amu handled a child.
Lets not be settled. I Dont think Amu will get credit for exposing Rajiv. Footage may be deemed illegal & an excuse for Babita to arrest Amu for camera but he has confessed. Babita will go against any Amu suggestion so how will appose Amu jail suggestion response from Babita be shown?

May be the scene is for the students, but the scene did show he has some psychological disorder. Dont know if that was part of their intent too. But it is not surprising given how he dealt with the false info that Ammu did it all (Mela eps).
The scene made him look immature with a really big need for growth in character. Fine if they will address that psychological disorder but then its better they dont - with their handling of it, they will give all the wrong ideas to people actually suffering from it. [If people go
over Virat in todays ep... I guess they wont see things from this pov. Acting was fine though.] It actually felt like Ammu was handling a kid... and I'm not joking. This shouldn't have been the case... (well... nope.. if it wasn't, how will the separation come about? how will another mu happen? The scene to me confirms we are headed there.)
About the dragging... oh god... just one dialogue in the beginning and they showed the reaction of every member.
Fortunately it didn't continue that way.
Hi
I am a silent reader and really enjoy reading everyone's views and thoughts on the show. But I got soo frustrated today that I needed to vent.
I get this is ITV and doesn't make any sense, but the writers should have some sense. How can I mother stand back and watch her daughter get physically abused and not have her blood boil. She is rewarding rajeev for everytime he hits her daughter with money. How can the babita not see her daughters burnt hand and not feel emotional and angry.. This is just way beyond stupid. All the actors are fantastic they can make you hate/love them.. but I just can't get my head around a mother supporting the man that sold her daughter, tried to rape her daughter and consistently abuses her daughter. I really like the show, but the stories are soo repetitive, really stupid and have no consequences for the villians. I could live with the stupidity if they had consequences for the villians.
Hi. Thank you for post.
Also post here to vent as most people on twitter go with direction of wind show determine.
Yes. 1)I agree we share the same frustration on writers creators of show not giving actors what they need to show their amazing talent.
2)Villian not receiving justice. I agree and vent almost daily. My suggestion if you want to continue show. Look at little signs of defeat. Amu now in Ahuja house hearing most their plans. Amu is now clear what Babita doing. Not wondering most time if it Babita. Support from virat nimmi Anjali Dildar more is growing. Yes we share the same frustration writers may give us another Mela/ fair turn just illogical
Now the tough part of your post on babita daughter abuse may need some clearing of events
None of the above is justification or support for Babita. Yes the story is disturbing. Many people dismiss domestic abuse as the abuser acts so good they feel its little misunderstanding. THE MAIN ISSUE IS BABITA IMAGE. YOU REMEBER BEFORE THEY LEFT FOR GOA SHE SAID VIRAT MAKE SURE AMU PACKS NOT DOWN MARKET CLOTHES. IT WILL RUIN HER IMAGE AND ITS EVERYTHING. She ignored Virat hate and relationship stress with priyanka on Dehli aunty party to put good image and got her way on hotel after because virat exploded
Will stop here but she is corrupted deep to core about image and moves family around like expensive objects. MAIN PROBLEM

The incident where he tried to sell Nimmi - will that be the red line for Babs? Or will she still have the view that Nimmi should adjust even after she learns it? Perhaps they are likely to avoid going there - the consequences may not go well with the story-line, since they would want Babs to blame Ammu for Nimmi's broken marriage.
Also my thought.
Hopefully it comes out if Babita tries to defend Rajvir arrest.
Other scenarios is Amu ask the question if there is Dr arriving scene. Amu is now able to speak to Nimmi & discover it was her in hotel room.
Selling information can be delayed where Nimmi doesnt feel threatened from Rajvir. She has support from Dildar and Virat. Nimmi will maybe shout it out later when Babita blames her or Amu for divorce. Can come out in reveal where nimmi says to family Babita knew about Abuse... probably another 50 episodes to give us some false hope Babita downfall coming soon

Have read similar things happening in regressive societies but it usually is the mother-in-law's role to ignore what her son does, not the mother. This is strange indeed. In a way Babs is like the part of the society that wants to throw muck on others but doesn't want any muck to fall on her - was the supposed reason they had to move to Mumbai.
Some users here have many a times mentioned that the show seems to be playing out in the 70's or 80's. Some times it feels like they are bringing some remote village relevant theme into metropolitan Mumbai - Virat and his family as the zamindars and Ammu as the bandhua mujdoor whom Virat forcefully marries later for revenge. Ammu, supposedly independent character, hasn't shown much to not conform to that theme - as many a times she is shown as if she is in love with her 'master'. [While the theme may play out in villages even now, strangely, have read cases where villages have moved quite far ahead - women (or her relatives) forcefully get married to someone who has a govt job without the actual consent of the man... sometimes even filing fake molestation cases.]
Last sentence: Yup. To me, letting the villains leave without any consequences has been one of the two black holes that sucked out anything positive the show has to offer and started with Rajeev going scot-free after the 10 Cr fraud case. The theme repeats with Babs in the mela eps and Ex with harsh incident. The other blackhole has been how Virat got "married" to Ammu.
