Look I am not a cricket enthusiast since a long time but India is already great at that sport ..and we are playing matches all year round there..and as a nation we need to change in all honesty and support other sports as well…Olympics comes once in 4 years. These names need more recognition. Restaurants airing India Vs SL match instead of Lakshya’s match or hockey..is just telling. Sorry for the rant…

I don't think Cricket enthusiasts wer watching Cricket.

We our Cricket fans but my Father didn't knew today was a match, I knew bcoz I get notifications on phone.

I don't think people are watching India v SL as the match is boring and India isn't doing well.

Restaurants telecast Match bcoz mostly uss channel ka subscription hota hain and they don't usually telecast ott channels.

& people may be watching it on Sony channel and many won't be knowing about it.

Usse pehle we won Hockey, so kya pata logo ne channel change na kiya ho. They continued on Hockey wala itself.

Also totke bhi toh karte hain log, my father went to purchase vegetables saying main nahi dekhunga toh Lakshya jeet jayega as he didn't watch Lakshya ke live matches this whole Olympics.

But I can say Indians weren't watching India v SL over Badminton, definitely log dekh rahe honge but it won't be majority of Cricket fans.

Mere khayal se this is better viewership rather than not watching at all.. Not everyone has jio cinema at home and I'm not sure if Olympics comes on TV like how ckt comes on star sports.

This viewership is better.. Now 2 cr people knows who lakshya is and what he has done to the nation today.. They will definitely watchout his future performances..

Rohan bopanna and his team called out to broadcasters to broadcast his tennis performance in Paris open live so that we can popularize tennis but broadcasters refused him on face.. He went on win Paris open at 40s..

So this being the state the viewership today makes me happy only.. Changes are happening
