Well it is clear from a statement perspective that Animal's budget of (100 cr) was just 20 cr more than Bad Newz's budget of (80 cr). Vanga's Animal went on to make over 900 cr.

Thats irrelevant.Two completely different genres. Bad Newz is a comedy and Animal is a toxic-masculinity buffet.

Ranbir was in Besharam as well, why dont you compare Besharam to Animal as well then?
