Did this episode piss people off? Because it pissed me off like crazy I mean there’s regressive storytelling but then there’s THIS level of regressive story telling. So so annoying

Theek hai Sharjeena asked Mustafa to marry her but it was a request not an obligation. He was FREE TO SAY NO. Now that he has agreed and the marriage has actually taken place, how has all the blame landed on Sharjeena? Sharjeena khud has thrown all self respect out the window and is willing to be the “ahsaanmand” girl forever. And she’s like idk if this will even work out blah blah blah. Girl why the heck did you make this decision then? Make up your bloody mind ! Is this really called living. And the whole I’ll sleep on the sofa offer ? That was nuts. You are his wife now and you both agreed to this. He has as much a role to play as you do in this marriage happening. Why are you taking so much crap? The whole bathroom scene was completely OTT as well.

Coming to Mustafa, remember that guy in the car who promised he would be a good friend to Sharjeena and showed SO MUCH CONCERN for her after what his brother did? Where was that guy today? That’s what I wanna know. He was like I won’t microwave this food for you. Matlab there’s rude and badtameez and then there’s this level of inhumanity keh he was treating her like garbage. I would have preferred if they had kept him confused and clueless rather than this heartless because it was too much. No sane person who even treat a guest like this let alone his new bride. So the 180 degree on Mustafa this episode was completely hard to swallow because this was not the character picture I had in my mind. I was expecting a man child but not a cruel one.

yet to watch the episode. But what on earth? Aise kyun aisa jaa hai story? I thought they both agreed and no one forced them to marry right. I had a different picture in my mind too in terms of story.

So did I. I expected confusion. I expected some endearing cluelessness and awkwardness. I didn’t expect lashing out and Mustafa being an asshole. Neither did I expect Sharjeena to become a bechari. I hate everything about this so far. Let’s see if tomorrow improves the story warna agar yahi hai tou Adeel’s story seems much much better tbh

Episode was not likeable for me. What is this story? Both Sharjeena and Mustafa's behavior on their wedding night was ott. Makers wanted to show some cute moments for viewers but these were not cute moments at all. Secondly what is Mustafa's attitude?

Exactly. It was so so forced and no version of hero - chahay kitna bhi manchild kyun na ho - would treat his wife on the first night like this. Es se zyada izzat tou tab kerta tha when he dropped her off post breakup with Adeel. It wasn’t about OTT for me, I am cool with that stuff as long as characters are making sense. The problem for me was that both of them went completely out of character. That’s the change I didn’t understand. I was okay with Bushra Ansari’s role getting some abrupt change but I was not expecting the writer to do this with the leads. It was all just bizarre shock value stuff which I don’t appreciate
