I think Yumna's acting is childish, dialogue delivery with crying is same in every other show. It's my OPINION on her. According to mods we can share opinion, and it's not bashing. I hope post won't get removed for sharing my opinion.

here's the timeline from best of my memory

- Tere Bin was airing, this was towards the middle to end when it got ridiculous. Until then even the thread was fine, I was a prolific poster there too discussing characters' actions, ridiculous scenes and people got along well. Then the thread slowly descended into madness, i.e. you couldn't say anything negative against characters' actions and people left and only the die hard fans remained

- Lollywood Gossip thread was opened and people there criticised everyone .. it was to do with social media posts/fashions/roles/characters everything.. I don't think anyone was spared and Tere Bin was the hot topic then so yeah it got discussed more.. The show was airing and the fans were everywhere ..Whenever someone came and made any misogynistic or sexist comments the posters there always rebuked them..so the victimisation of poor Yumna being age shamed, sl*t shamed relentlessly is NOT true

- Tere Bin thread used to have like multiple pages of discussions on other actresses that involved sl*t shaming and calling other female actors "glamour dolls" or "model types" unlike their superior kween.. and a narrative started forming where Yumna was hailed as underrated actor that everyone in PTV were jealous of and were plotting to bring her down.. Pretty much everyone in PTV were jealous of Yumna (not sure if Wahaj also but he was just an after thought mostly lol)...The same posters would then come to Lollywood gossip threads and ask if Sajal Ali or Fawad Khan were known actors..

- Then suddenly the same people who were name calling female actors for like 20 straight pages started making snide remarks about the "elites" LOL.. They i assume went on reporting spree and mods started being more active

- I think the line between forum here and Twitter and other media got blurred because people in TB threads would complain about Yumna being age shamed or sl*t shamed relentlessly but i would look around the forum and see nothing of that sort.. yeah sure she was criticised because she isn't beyond criticism unlike what they might think...

Then there was Mein drama - mature looking face vs babyface etc etc

then the steady decline of this forum until now where every single actor (not YZ) is criticised on their related threads.. When a show airs- so called "reviews" are written with thinly veiled insults to the leads (mostly just the female.. either about their age or other aspects) everything is analysed with fine tooth comb.. then make snide remark about TRPs pretty much go to every thread and instigate a fight.. Oh and PTV started in 2023 and every scene in PTV since then is copied from Tere Bin.. then bring unrelated actors to the discussion and when someone retaliates then act like they're being bullied.. LOL

oh missed an event in timeline where Tere Bin pictures would randomly be dropped in random threads to convert the disbelievers like how Jehovah's witness come door to door with the Watchtower magazine LOL (This was one of the funniest moments in the saga of PSF)

I agree with you. I just haven't been impressed by her.

At one point she had back to back shows (Bakhtawar, Ishq e laa and forgot other show) and that really exposed her weakness.. she is the same in every role, just the character and situations and story changes but her acting remains the same...
