💯💯💯They really should take this opportunity, there's just too many possibilities without diving into fiction as well smiley36

yes people are ignoring the pitfalls in the part 1 as they are giving it a benefit of doubt saying everything will come together in part 2. So they better get their act together and deliver the epic the audience is anticipating.

I watched the movie today and would like to share my opinion.

I felt the movie didn't actually glorify Karna. In fact if it glorified anyone then it has to be Ashwatthama. I don't know about others but in whichever movies/serials that I watched on Maharabharata, Ashwatthama was always projected as a villain who took the wrong side and was an evil nasty man. This movie showed him in a different and interesting light and I enjoyed watching this kind hearted gentle Ashwatthama.

On the other hand Bhairava is a grey shaded character all throughout the movie. He is not just shown as a greedy man who can stoop so low to fulfill his motive but also an opportunist who can use anyone for his selfish motive and later ditch them. Karna too was a power hungry greedy man and an opportunist. I wonder why they named him Bhairava which is another name of Lord Shiva. They should have named him something that's connected with the Sun God. It will be revealed later why he is so desperate to go inside the complex. Let's see if they glorify Karna's character in the second part.

You are right. He was shown as a thankless, whiny and selfish character. For that matter even Ashwathama was shown as a grey character with a single pointed focus of protecting Sumati so that he can redeem himself. He doesn’t do anything when people were dying in Sambhala and only looks out for Sumati.

I guess we were just going by what Krishna says putting him above Arjuna.

Does Deepika have a long role or a short one?

She has a substantial role in the movie. She's one of the main characters and the whole movie revolves around her because she's Kalki's mother.
