It's a valid reason. If a person behave insanely just because he lost job then any unmarried girl would run away. Zain behavior was insane when he lost job. If one can't handle this little thing then he is not capable of handling anything.

Some people call of just before saying yes so it's not big deal in south Asia. It was just Mehendi not even actual function. Only mentally sick people takes it to heart and try to take revenge. I disagree. Its a big deal is South Asia. It will be discussed a lot and will be mentally difficult for many.
