It was due to the blind obsession and love for Anupama that Anuj had ruined his life and his business. You might love some 1 but that does not mean that you stop taking practical decisions in your business. I also forgot to mention that apart from marrying Anupama, an equally foolish decision was adopting CA aka Aadhya from an orphanage in Mumbai. Anupama who was idolized by Aadhya when she was in orphanage is now hated by the same girl thanks to Anupama abandoning her at such a young age. All Aadhya wanted was love, affection and some quality time from Anupama. But Anupama had time for her toxic ex-family, not for Aadhya which is precisely the reason why Aadhya hates her. Poor Aadhya is suffering now due to the sins of Anuj and Anupama. Sruthi took care of Anuj and Aadhya during 5 years and she sacrificed her career. But Anuj had turned out to be a disgusting cheater just because Sruthi was responsible for the shut down of Spice & Chutney and the other employees losing their jobs.
Anuj is blind that even after seeing that Anupama is responsible for Undhiyo Cockroach Biryani, Aadhya and Pari getting humiliated in their school, refuses to leave her. And by becoming a blind devotee of Anupama has proved that he is a lover of cockroach. He will definitely have the Undhiyo Cockroach Biryani and say "Meri Anu ki galti nahi hain. Galti cockroach ki hain".
