SR's dream is there to make Anirudh realize his inner feelings for Jhanak. He's most probably got a hint today about her feelings that's why instigating her to acknowledge. After today's intimated hug, he sensed and felt the warmth of their pure and deep love.

So, Arshi is completely out of the picture from his physical senses, and she'll only remain a way to protect Jhanak. That's for sure!
