Didn't watch the episode yet. But what I meant was he got the appointment letter from government before this chaos started. He had applied for that job long ago. But he finally got the appointment letter. So it's definitely not punishment. That is what I think..

That's why Hum TV mentioned FT twice in its annual report? For channel like Geo(which has 54m youtube subscribers) 700m views are nothing but for Hum Tv a drama achieving 700m views is a big thing. And those TRPs are given by either Geo, ARY or that pdtrp site & their trps are based on urban data not rural and semi urban areas. That's why Hum tv TRP( which is based on both urban & rural areas) generally comes out 15-20% higher that what Geo or ARY says.

Yeah. And its more torture since HUM shows comes once a week. I though have watched first three episodes and I enjoyed it very much. Everyone is just fabulous and storyline too is.

Ishq murshid got far better views and Trps than FT and its on the same channel. Even then most of the time HuM its self had flyers with trps of 6+ for fT which is only decent. Not good enough.

Do watch it. Great episode. It was all about Meenu with a little bit of Roshan thrown in which was also wonderful.

Hum only reports TRP for A,B,C centers. They basically leave all ghareebs and paindus out of the calculation by excluding D and E centers. Also Hum only includes 18-35 age group.

There are plenty of examples where Hum TV shows do good YT views. When you are talking tens of millions of subscribers, the marginal contribution of channel size gets much less. After a certain threshold of subscribers, it's an even playing field. Jab Hum dramas click they get large views. Plenty of GEO ARY shows get worse views than Hum.

TRPs are never a good judge of talent or quality of anything. This show has great character actors which means everyone including the leads. ZPKB is not about star factor. The storytelling so far >> one of the best I have seen in a while.

Ishq Murshid is no doubt a super hit drama, and it was on Sunday at the 8 PM prime time slot. 700 million views means PKR 200–250, and this money is more than what many 8+ trp achiever dramas make from TV. Hum tv even put a poster on instagram when their drama acheives just 50m youtube views & here FT did 700m

I'm relieved nothing happened to the friend or child. Meenu keeps nailing it in every scene with everyone..love how she gave it back to the village politician and to the rishtawala and her college friends. Happy to see Roshan back and Nofil's entry...

Geo Daily dramas gets more views than many Hum prime time dramas. For Geo KAM3, Tere Bin, Rang Mahal, Siyani did more than billion views & for Hum only Ishq murshid. Geo is bigger player on YouTube than Hum tv. Hum dramas rarely click, most of their super hit dramas on YouTube are Ramazan dramas. And Hum clearly mentions that its trp is based on Pak Total whereas Geo clearly mentions that its TRP is based on urban areas.
