I think that was Rohit and not Armaan.

Great analysis.

I agreed with the power imbalance aspect especially. and in one of my earlier posts i had mentioned the same too. Abhira looks outspoken, and strong outwardly but really she's the submissive one in the relationship because she literally has no one else. Armaan is the center of her universe. Armaan has a lot of people although he does not feel the "haq" on them like he does with Abhira to literally say/do anything he pleases, be his worst self and still know that she'll understand him and move on without holding it against him and judging him. But the thing is, these things build up over time and can become toxic.

Armaans love for family is great but he needs to learn to love like Abhira in that he should not lose sight of his own individuality or kill his own desires, dreams, aspirations.

Abhira deeply admires how protective and caring he is for his family and she herself has craved a family always. But his love for family itself can drive a wedge between them if he lets himself get controlled by Kaveri or Vidya too much. Both of them are untrustworthy. One is plain evil and the other is stupid because she's too easily swayed one way or another. Unfortunately both of them have too much influence on Armaan. Madhav is kinda responsible for that. He let them treat Armaan the way they did since childhood and couldn't stop it and now he recognizes the problem but he can't do much because he didn't interfere earlier and now he has such a strained relationship with his own son that he can't get through to Armaan.
