Bharat was, is and will always be a nation..Delhi was the seat of power of what then? If there was no country and just a bunch of states put together why did anyone come to invade Hindustan and why did they think whoever becomes the ruler of Delhi becomes the ruler of the whole country except South? What country was Christopher Columbus searching for (and landed up in America instead) if India was just a fragmented union of States? Yes there were fights..but this theory that Bharat did not exist before Brits is the biggest bull! Partition should not have happened and I firmly believe in it to date…. we were all one at some point..we are all from Indian subcontinent..?? We share the same culture and history ..folks from neighbouring countries are not Arab descendants..!! And yet so much blood loss and terrorism..and the reason for fight is one word - Jihad. Misused by radicals or whatever..people have lost lives over it not just in India but all over the globe, including the loss of lives of innocent Muslims as well. If India loses this war..the world’s oldest civilisation loses this war because we are the last man standing preserving our heritage and culture…

Raja Hari Singh asked Indian govt to help only after Pakistan broke the stand still agreement 🙄🙄🙄

And Nehru ji didn't do anything it was Lord Mountbatten who put forth the condition that India will help only if Kashmir becomes part of India

Then Indian Soldiers went there and Kashmir got the special status purely because of the reason that its surrounded by terrorists

Basic wiki knowledge but many articles with Deep study on the same 🤷

The ostensible aim of the guerilla campaign was to frighten Hari Singh into submission. Instead the Maharaja appealed to the Government of India for assistance, and the Governor-General Lord Mountbatten[c] agreed on the condition that the ruler accede to India.[77] Once the Maharaja signed the Instrument of Accession, Indian soldiers entered Kashmir and drove the Pakistani-sponsored irregulars from all but a small section of the state. India accepted the accession, regarding it provisional[81] until such time as the will of the people can be ascertained. Kashmir leader Sheikh Abdullah endorsed the accession as ad hoc which would be ultimately decided by the people of the State. He was appointed the head of the emergency administration by the Maharaja.[82] The Pakistani government immediately contested the accession, suggesting that it was fraudulent, that the Maharaja acted under duress and that he had no right to sign an agreement with India when the standstill agreement with Pakistan was still in force.

Kashmiri majority never wanted to be part of India. India forced itself on them.. the reason it is still a disputed region even after 80 some years. It is as simple as that. Decision was solely based on Hindu Maharaja ruling Kashmir at that time not by religious demography, but punjab got further divided into Himachal, Haryana based on language/religion. Hypocrisy.

yeah Tibet wanted to be a part of China, Baluchistan wanted to be with Pakistan, Persia wanted to be Iran, Korea wanted to split into North and South and many such example but you will talk about Kashmir only, Kashmir has always been a part of India since the time immemorial, since the time none of the western countries existed, the countries which think they can divide India and can also give the opinion on Kashmir should be a part of which area, India doesn't need your opinion on Kashmir, it was ours, it is ours and it will always be ours and who doesn't want to be part of India are not the original inhabitants of kashmir, they are the invaders, kashmiri Hindus are the natives and they always wanted be the part of India

Hindus also didn't wanted to be ruled by Mughals but invaders ne unki baat nahi suni, kya kar sakte hai 🤷

Disputed region from 80 years 😂😂😂😂😂😂dude kashmir was disputed region from ancient times

Hindus Mughals Afghans British

Majority of hindu population se majority of Muslim population ho gaya wo 1947 tak aate aate, instead of being in your land first read a single history book on it and if you don't want to don't share your pov in the name of facts

And not only Kashmir, after Mughal Invasion whole Bharat became disputed land only

Punjab got further divided into haryana on the basis of language demanded by Punjabi because they wanted independent state of Punjabi speaking Punjabi, both were still part of India and got all the rights

Wonder what happened to Bangladesh and Pakistan 🤔🤔, east Pakistan hone ke baad bhi they fought a war to be independent of Pakistan and "asked help from India"

And please give me a source where its written Kashmiris wanted to be a part of Pakistan, because let's face it, east Islamic people who wanted to be a part of pak made it happen by creating own country east pak though it involved riots and killing a lot to kashmir mei unko kisne roka tha, its not like waha pe kabhi riots hue nahi, but those were by militants who were sent from Pak, why did locals never protested and were so happy after removal of article 370?

Liberalism only works when all people think alike which is never gonna happen, promoting liberalism as a thing which gives human society freedom is literally a hoax, it's just a idea of compromise and adjustments where you have to search for your own identity and where you belong .
