Every other ITV show these days has the same story. Starplus alone has three shows with the same plot.

ITV channels earn more from their OTT apps by releasing episodes earlier, before their air time. PTV shows lately are the most watched shows on YouTube all because of Indian & Bangladeshi audience.

They earn from television actually. I remember I spoke to someone from the industry during Bigg Boss, they told me that 1 commercial break of bigg Boss is worth 50-70cr

They charge 7cr for 30 seconds of advertisement, the above price was during 2015, it would have increased many folds by now

Stress on Yt views is unique to PTV, is there any other industry which considers YT views as more than a promotional medium?

I can't think of any other industry. Korean & Turkish shows are not available on YouTube.
