Why I m guessing this is that when bali was killed he questioned ramji who gave him right to do so

That time ramji said all this part is under ayodhya and current king is Bharat and he himself is vanshaj of ikshavashku and representing king he has the authority

Though this part was shown in rs ramayan not in this one

Yeah it's because of history only and also that I've always been attached to Ramayan Mahabharat, growing up, all my life. Its also why I studied Sanskrit for a decade. Sigh.
