How can he be a poor guy when we have clearly seen in the outdoor hotel bts that he's talking about his company that has been started by his grandfather and father and he's their sole heir taking forward the legacy of their business.

Wahaj ka gareeb hona in this show is clearly not happening. Moreover he looks like a rich spoilt casanova to me who later is obsessively in love with Maya.
