But too late now. If she had that 'fire' she should've done it in the previous night. She didn't even remove those bangles, rings etc. I would have liked it to have the next three eps bashing all the Ahujas up... after three eps of all the crap that Virat did and said. She could've messed up that bathroom too if she wanted... break everything she can.. but.. nope.

Now its like a token scene... show her strong for a while... then have an eyelock or something... then unsure... then see kindness in him... done. Can say not interested anymore.

Exactly, she just sat there doing nothing. In any other case she would have put the bathroom upside down. Arre bath tub ka tap chalake Pura ghar pani pani kar deti. Par nahi.

Any self respecting woman in her place would have burnt the ring, the yellow saree, the bangles in a bonfire in Ahuja's living room. And if locked in the bathroom, not a single item would be intact when the doors opened. Sometimes being violent and aggressive is good, at least to show that you are not going down without a fight.

They (the writers) don't think about these.. cause they want her to love him later on. Why? I really dont know why... how can she ever love him again? even if he was 'mistaken'.. how many times she has to go through the same thing again and again...

He mentioned 'tumne mera bharosa toda hai' after locking her up... well... did he ever have trust on her??? apart from some token scenes where one can say yes? Even in that monologue he had one night besides her sleeping he said 'always trust in me' ... he didnt say 'I will always trust you'... he just wants... doesnt believe in 'give'...

and we are to be happy that she is now married to him and go gaga over any of the stupid scenes they bring of them. Could've happened, if they hadn't brought this mela crap (really not getting a better word for it).

If nothing else, she can scream... so very loud that other building members will come up... and it happens too. They wont go just because VSA says she is now married to him ...

i mean... there were probably a 100 things she could've done. But... we have to make her stay there and love him later.

In love stories, "enemies to lovers" trope is a very popular and recurring theme. The thing to focus here is the definition of "enemies". Usually, it is a misunderstanding, or quick judgements, or prejudices, or rivalry that seems like the characters are going to hate each other forever. But as time progresses and the characters start to understand each other's intention behind everything that they do, they realize how wrong they were in their judgement. Slowly, trust grows between them and then it could lead to a friendship/love based on mutual understanding and trust. Once that is established, the characters will never revert to their Day 0 of their relationship. That is how you show a character arc, the growth that every individual goes through due to their life experiences.

Sadly, itv is so focused on chemistry and romantic moments of the lead pair that they loose track of the story. There are so many itv shows that started out on a beautiful story but lost the plot somewhere in the middle(and that's when they go for a time leap).

This show has crossed that "enemies" line; it is a case of physical and mental abuse and harassment. How can you fall in love with your abuser! Guess, you need to be Ghajini for that to happen.

Like I said in an earlier post, the show made sense till the photo leak and I would have still understood and accepted if they were both forced into marriage because of it. The fake marriage and 'mela'drama after it just ruined the show. 😞
