I am liking how smartly and strategically Fahad and Hania are starting to promote their new drama to create buzz. It's subtle and fun.

I really wish SMD team takes a few cues from this approach instead of making heavy-handed cringe posts with racy posters, presumed success and intense chemistry.

Btw wasn't big bang the same production house that received heavy criticism from here and all over for marketing mein with false narrative

I will never judge a big bang show on its promos and advertisements because they wrongly promoted mpht as well with that painter wala first look.

So lets wait for the actual teasers and episodes to see whether bb has actually worked upon their marketing strategy or is this their new way of fooling the audience.

Talking about smd, I'm really worried for it. After seeing the failure of gm, I'm really skeptical about this drama written by krq

Except Haseeb, nobody has really promoted SMD. Even for Mein, Wahaj had posted his first look and revealed his character name along with Ayeza but nothing on SMD except the announcement by 7th Sky back in December.

Hania’s promotions have been cute. I think SMD team is promoting this in a way? Haseeb is and Maya just posted Hira’s shot from JSPJ with the caption “My Heer” so she’s hinting at Hira’s role as Heer in SMD obviously.

And for all we know release is still a month or so away so eventually they’ll post. But I have faith in this project. Firstly it’s going to be on Geo so it will bring numbers and secondly it’s a KRQ script and he’s done wonderfully with GM so far. Lots of critical acclaim and positive response which I’m hoping would be the same for SMD.

I still feel Haseeb is just satisfied with how the show is turning out and happy at how his vision came to life as expected or better. That’s how he feels. He’s the director and it’s his vision - very different than how a production company would market a show. He isn’t declaring it a commercial success. Maybe the audience will outright reject it. We won’t know until it airs.

Gentleman is doing good for a green show, no? They aren’t known for having huge numbers. I haven’t seen it yet - I’m waiting for more episodes so I can binge watch it. I’ve heard good things though

You mean sleeping with enemy / Agnisakshi. So what role is Wahaj playing bad husband or good husband ? Good husband char has no much scope while bad husband has loads of scope - Nana Patekar have a commendable performance. But why will Wahaj go for another suicidal role after Zaid ? Even till date I don’t get what attracted him in Zaid. Both char and actor didn’t deserve each other .

These are all fake rumours . If anyone is married or about to get married, it's Usama and Maya. How Wahaj and Hira figures into all these, we still don't know ! I now think that Wahaj-Maya had a past and they meet again.

SMD promotions haven't really started. GEO seems focused on promoting Haroon's mega signature project right now. The promotion trend seems to be changing, so I don't know if GEO will promote SMD differently or not.
