This is why I watch this serial. Kathir is a damn good character. Loving this.

It is no longer kadamai, kanniyam, kattupadu, or kadugu. Maybe not full-blown love but definitely care and affection. We need more of this.

i just loved their conversation in today’s episode. This is exactly what I wanted, talk about themselves, their life, future and how they can be helpful to each other

Did you also notice how he abruptly ended their conversation by saying Good Night as she was constantly questioning him. My husband used to do the same when I nagged him and end it with a good night when we were newly married

Its not that he wanted to cut her off, its just that he has decided to take her responsibilities, and wants her to complete her education and go to a decent job like Meena which is very appreciative,

Today’s KR scene and their conversation is the precursor to what’s going to come in Thursday and Friday’s episode,
SM conversation was also good whe ST were cringe like always 🙄

Kathir is setting the benchmark very high as an awesome husband and its going to be difficult for any guy to meet that expectations Girls out there in real life are going to start looking for someone like Kathir or Muthu from SA

I also loved Senthil, Palanivel and Kathir’s conversation on the terrace.

About today’s episode

The promo about Gomathi getting angry at Pandian because he is praising TM over her turned out to be a dud. Pandian called TM to ask her to talk to her father. Gomathi didn’t have the courage to face Pandian and question him, instead managed the situation by saying Pandian called TM only hand over the phone to talk to her father when Meena and Raji questioned her. So It is clear that Gomathi is all talk and no action. Earlier she was only scared of Pandian, now she will be scared of TM too.

Next is Senthil-Kathir-Palanivel scene which was refreshing. Their dialogues clearly indicated what we have all been thinking about Pandian. Palanivel indirectly confirmed that Pandian is not a great husband or father Kathir as a matter of fact said that since Pabdian thinks he us a tharuthale, talks back, has the freedom to stand against him and do what he wants. He asked Senthil also to be like him when Senthil explained what happened after he took Meena to eat out. But Senthil confirmed that he doesn’t have the guts to talk like Kathir but agreed that Pandian has no sense of reality and acts differently with each of their children. I liked Palanivel’s explanation and finally confirmed that there will be a fight only between FIL and DILs unlike other families as his sister Gomathi is a thangam and a great maniyar🙄 Palanivel also mentioned that in the pretext of praising TM, Pabdian is putting down Meena and Raji which is unfair and uncalled for.

SM’s conversation - Not sure why Senthil didn’t tell Meena about Pandian shouting at him for taking her ou. Instead their conversation revolved about asking permission for their work related Chennai trip and how Pandian kept comparing TM and Meena/Raji. Meena this season is different from Meena of PS-1. Apparently she is not jealous and don’t take such things seriously She is ok with TM becoming the best DIL and happy that she doesn’t have to do the household chores (I agree with this too) Senthil wanted Meena to call him Mama, but why?

Skipped ST scene - not interested in them🙄 Both of them irritate me so much.

Now coming to KR scene - Kathir is very responsible, broached the Kadamai topic Raji is feeling guilty and thinks she should help him out by doing a part time job bit he wants her to study well, graduate and find a job like Meena, so she take pride in that and make her family also proud. The whole thing was heartwarming to see. They have a comfort level between them and are able to easily converse now. I also like how Raji is asking his opinions these days before doing anything, so he knows what she is thinking and whether it will benefit or affect both of them. Kathir point blank told her to focus on her studies and not think about jobs. When she kept probing him he ended the conversation by saying good night. Tomorrow he will give Pandian money for his and Raji’s expenses, which is what a self respecting man would do especially when his own father treats him like a piece of crap and counts the money he spends on his son and DIL. I really like how Kathir more than himself is starting to think about Raji and her dignity. I hope their relationship continues the same way and expecting them to leave this Pandian madhouse soon.

Skipped the final season between TM and Gomathi.

About Saturday- L.O.L! Cringe and stupid of peacock to go to Senthil's room. KR scene- I also liked how Kathir told her to let TM know not to barge into their room. But I also think Raji might not be able to do so/forget to do so and someday peacock will barge into their room and get to know of their sleeping arrangements.

I ff'ed the two hour episode and finished it in 20 mins max. KR scenes, like you gals said, is just minimal, haphazard in terms of editing and fully rushed. Why-o-why were the bike scenes not prolonged for a few more seconds?? What harm would it have done?

We keep seeing SM bike scenes a lot, will be seeing ST bike scenes a lot, but why just not KR bike scenes? What is wrong with them? And what is the makers' problem? Even if not the bike scene, may be a few seconds where they get stuck on the road and him helping her get into an auto and taking her home would have sufficed.🤷‍♀️

I did not watch Mon, tues episodes after you gals gave a gist of it all. Skipped them, but YT throws the clips to my face though. I cannot see that summa illikara peacock anymore and that Pandian's peacock bhajanayi. Also, Sharanya is overdoing it and frankly speaking, she is an utter miscast as a village belle.

Senthil needs to man up, period. That's all I can say for him.

About today, it is the-first-ever-normal-KR-convo. This is what needs to be shown. This is the kind of convo we have been banging our heads for. Even though I would have preferred Raji alone taking the decision of going for a part time job and also land in one, Kathir asking her to complete her studies and take up a stable job is also nice. And Raji slowly starting to take his views is such a good progress. I just hope and hope that makers keep this progress consistent.

Maybe someday, when someone asks Raji why she only listens to Kathir, she can reflect on how her ignorance towards his advice earlier impacted them both so adversely and how his opinions have only made things good for her. But me asking for such scenes is too much of a stretch, I know!Naane edhavudhu short fic ezhuthavendiyathu thaan.

No comments on Goms though. But I am not liking how Raji and Meena are provoking her. Goms is just not trustworthy. She will definitely throw these two under the bus to save her own skin by blaming/complaining about them to Pandian if he asks who provoked her against peacock.

Kathir finally and finally giving it back to Pandian! Keep it comingg Kathiruuu!! And keep it coming makersss! (If possible) Goms all shocked. Raji totally happy. I think and hope this should be the point where Raji fully regains her confidence and knowing Kathir is with her, she will finally question Pandian on his hypocrisy when he goes off at Kathir the next time. I want her to have the first go at Pandian and then Meena gets her turn. But I also know makers will definitely make Meena question Pandian first. Sigh!
