Someone explain to me.

Woman tells man she hates man for throwing her out when she was pregnant. Man tells her he is upset she obeyed his orders and stayed away for 6 years. Does this make sense. Isn't her staying away a direct consequence of his words? Isn't it obvious if you throw pregnant wife out and refuse her calls, you will automatically stay away from child?

Did he even bother once to look for her when she was alive. Angad probably expects her to courier the kid after delivering. I can't see him thinking even once that he did not support her through a life threatening delivery.

Writers trying their best to make it look like Sahiba was at fault for not sitting outside Brar mansion for 9 months saying bachha lelo bachha lelo bachha paida ho gaya please come collect. I guess writer believes Sahiba should have done this (replace Aloo kaande with Akir)

You guys keep saying Sahiba should have gone to Garry Keerat. It is pretty obvious the two losers would help Angad snatch Akir immediately after birth and leave Sahiba for dead.

Keerat is worse than Seerat, she claims to love Sahiba but her loyalty lies with her husband's family. Always ready to throw Sahiba under the bus so she can uplift a criminal who even mistreated Keerat because she is related to Sahiba. Seerat had her priorities set and never claimed otherwise.

Similarly when Veer was positive he did not torture a child to reunite a woman with her abuser and get her jailed for his crimes.

It's frustrating how Sahiba's side isn't shown at all. She's endured so much, and it's infuriating to see Keerat supporting Angad. How can she, knowing how much Angad used to torment Sahiba? Literally?

VJ is an excellent actor who deserves more recognition. He should definitely explore OTT platforms or films. His talent is undeniable. But Angad's character is highly problematic, reflecting the regressive mindset behind many Indian TV shows. This is why people don't take Indian TV seriously.

And I’m still upset about Garry’s actions. Scaring away a child? What were the writers thinking? First, it was Sahiba who was tortured, and now it's Akeer. It's hard to enjoy a Sahan scene when they're surrounded by so much toxicity, with only rare moments of goodness.

It's impossible to undo what's been done, unfortunately. If only the writers would consider a more balanced and thoughtful approach to these characters and their arcs.

You do have a point ☝️ regarding Keerat's behaviour.

The essence of Keerat has completely changed. The Keerat I know would have trashed Angad left, right, and center.

This is NOT the Keerat I recognize. The current Keerat is just doing what others are saying, almost like a doormat.

She used to be fiercely independent and strong-willed, always standing up for what was right. This change in her character is disappointing and out of character.

Now, I have a question: Did Garry inform Keerat about torturing his sister's son? It’s hard to believe that Keerat would support Angad if she knew the full extent of his actions.

And Garry as her husband should tell her ....

Garry's actions were despicable, especially when he scared away the child.

What were the writers thinking when they wrote those scenes? It’s frustrating to see such regression in the storyline everyday

I did not mean it literally. Her being a doormat is one thing but Sahiba has always been a doormat , still she actively encouraged Keerat to dump Veer. But not once you see Keerat asking Angad to man up and be a decent human. She saw the man throw his wife out and never look for her, she saw the man take out his hatred of Sahiba on Keerat and even Bani. She saw her sister getting jailed and refused to speak up. She has seen the man hit her sister without remorse.

With people like Seerat and Manveer you know what you get. But with people like Keerat, they will destroy your life claiming they want the best for you. Garry and Keerat could never ask Angad to be a human being in years but they place the entire onus on Sahiba and guilt trip her every chance they get.

But no one compares to Angad of course. The vilest character in the show. Playing with another abuse victims life to satisfy his ego, once a domestic abuser always a domestic abuser.

They want us to believe Sahiba is wrong, Amanpreet is wrong meanwhile Angad is a victim despite being like he is.

And the funny thing is things just keep getting worse... TMD is setup in a dystopian backdrop! There were areas where they could revive Angad ,Garry and Keerats characters.. But no they decide to make them worse... Does Garry have any character anymore excePt being a yes man of Angad and Sahiba? Keerat is not Keerat anymore... Both her face and character has changed... Only the name remains! Writers are sucking all the good qualities in a character, highlighting their shameless qualities , glorifying them and then they beg us for TRP. Waah!

No need to be sorry. Makers are getting paid to copy and they fail in copying too. But it is pointless, show has no ratings still they are hell bent on glorifying the worst characters of the show. He is still destroying multiple lives while others are feeling guilty for his crimes. No one on that shows creative team has braincells to be honest, they want to drive home the fact that Angad is a hero but don't realize his actions are infinitely worse than official villains of other Star shows like Vanraj.

I lost it when Wankar begged for TRPs. The audacity of that man! How dare he?

It’s outrageous how makers treat their audience and characters, especially the strong women who deserve much much better....

I was watching Udaan last day... What a stark difference from TMD. Udaan aired in 2016, TMD in 23'. The other show is lightyears ahead when it comes to the love story and the strength of characters. Both the male and female characters were effin strong in their own ways. The FL was strong throughout the show, not a pitiable mess like our FL here. The ML would own up to his mistakes, treated his wife like a Queen while he saw himself as the King. They were equals. And the love story blends with the main theme easily and they were true lovers. Even Swaragini has a similar love story of equals but maybe not as interesting tho... So many stories.. While here in TMD we still don't know when and why Angad and Sahiba fell in "love"... Its a painful sight to say the least.
