This is what happened in Dua’s case. She never knew how to identify red flags. Its a huge parenting flaw.

It also matters the environment you grew up in...if you see your parents or others around you in healthy relationships you have some idea of it, otherwise, you are likely to fall for all the wrong partners when they give you the slightest attention - which also applies to Dua's case...

I also don't want the marriage to happen..from the teasers there were very few scenes of him and no scene with the sister so I hope the marriage doesn't happen..

Parenting thing is right.

But identifying red flags or how people are can't really be taught. You need have that gut feeling. Naturally bhi thoda sensible Hona padta hai. Here I think Dua just wanted good things and she just fell in that trap. Also just in one meeting she was like I love you..so ..
