Maya and Haseeb are the reason I feel this show might not at be as misogynistic as KRQ’s other shows. Both are very choosy and won’t do toxic stuff.

Mayas script choices aren’t the best though ever since her TV comeback none of the projects have been great for her career all mediocre only JBG was a critical success but even then the spotlight was mainly on Wahaj.

Wahaj’s script choices have always been great other than that Mein. But this is a KRQ script and he’s a writer who doesn’t allow any production house or director to alter his script. Also, as far as Haseeb is concerned he always does more critical projects over commercial. The projects aren’t huge rating grabbers if we look at past projects like JSA and Alif which have aired on Geo and 7th Sky. So maybe SMD might be more of a critical project over commercial?

Yeah. After hearing Mukarram, I feel this might come in June too (maybe a week after Eid).

Wasnt Yunhi was a critical success ? Even her bad projects aren't typical saas-bahu stuff. TB and MPHT weren't great scripts too so Wahaj's choices havent been good recently.

Yunhi was a good script but it should have been Kubra or Ushna as Kim I feel. There were a few writing issues here and there but overall it was good script. Kim's apathy towards religion & religious people stemmed from her being molested by her quran teacher in childhood. They mentioned it but should have delved more into it.

No it wasn’t, was criticised by a lot of reviewers and her acting was that great. Bilal Ashraf didn’t really amaze with his acting even though it was his tv debut. The ratings weren’t that great either. It’s just another forgotten project nothing memorable that’s what I meant. I guess TB did a lot for Wahaj’s career by making him an A lister and it’s a character that’s memorable for Wahaj along with the show. His on screen chemistry also became a big thing after Fawad and Mahira. Ratings were great. MPHT started off great too and had great ratings at the beginning maybe his character won’t remain as memorable as Murtasim will.
