The scene is that Tarazu in a rotating platform... which is taking the pheras. He forces her to sit on one... then forces the sindoor on her... says some VSA things... voice over says the same thing about Ammu that voiceover always tells 'kya hai Amruta ka silence ka raaz'.

Saw it on live (glad it came up within seconds of checking.. would've cursed myself if I had waited even 10 mins for it to come up.)

Good for Bhavani and Jahan who were shipping for them and also for Ammu who wanted to clear his name.

How ever disgusting this new tarazu sindoor promo of KMTMG is, that's neither a recognized Marathi nor Punjabi style wedding final ritual, so its NOT acceptable either in law or Hindu dharma which channel/makers/writers/creatives in pursuit of creating shock element with negative buzz have conveniently bypassed in promo?

Marriage is legal & valid when performed using recognized Hindu wedding rituals following any cultural customs as per marriage act, but ONLY when its between two consenting adults in their full senses, with NO force/pressure/blackmail/threat/shaming/fraud/kidnapping involved at the time of rituals.. otherwise it is treated as nullity of that marriage. Also its NOT valid when Hindu marriage is not performed in accordance with the applicable rites or ceremonies of 'saptapadi' properly, also application of sindoor (vermilion) on a woman's forehead under coercion does not constitute a valid marriage.

A forced marriage is a violation of human rights and also a gender violence, amounts to coercion as per law since it usually involves mental abuse, emotional blackmail from either family or society or other party.

Forced marriage is an infringement and encroachment of fundamental liberties and directed gender violence. As marriage is a legally binding contract in Indian law, so forcing someone to marry violates the basic right envisaged by the constitution under right to life and dignity.

Certain TV serials by normalizing illegal invalid marriages as if legal valid many times, been making mockery of Indian law as well as Hindu dharma, thus misleading public in repelling way.. and have to be controlled.

Totally deserved. Even for Ammu - all the time she was bothered more about him than her. Paying the price for doing so. And fits well too - she can always trust him... but his trust is always wavering... and of course, she knows it... but Bhavani and Jahan wanted her to ignore it.
