So now we know the reason for the secret marriage. The will favored Geet and that was why Rahul had to marry her. Maan used the same loophole to his own benefit. That would feel like a punch in the gut to Geet. Rahul and Maan both married her for the stipulations in the will. It seems Rahul was able to get property that Maan feels should have been his in the first place. Did his mother own it and it transferred to their father and then later to Rahul? Geet was the easiest way to that goal.
Maan always knew about this connection and kept watch on Geet. He was there to help her when she needed it. But then he also did not want to completely help her to the point that she would become dependent on him.
He has made her believe that he hated both her and her son. He probably lied about that. He may have for some time equated her to Rahul's mother and Advik to Rahul, but he would not feel that now. Once he would have known the truth behind the circumstances, he would have seen that Geet is more in his own mother's position. not Rahul's.
Did he truly hate Advik though? An innocent child? Even if he was Rahul's son, he was just a baby who hurt no one.
But there is more truth to reveal yet. Truth that will shed more light into Maan and his mother's plight. Truth that will show Geet that Maan is not the same as Rahul.
