I don't get it either, it is unnecessary. They could've healthy political competition & healthy competition in Kisweara case too. This plot is totally unnecessary in this story.

Love triangle done respectfully and it added depth in their story, needed. Taimur didn't deserve heart break though, but he wasn't in love either.
