This is supposedly about movies but the discussions here are largely on the looks, modeling, clothes bla bla bla. All superficial stuff . The audience are happy with picking up the low hanging fruit hence are getting served accordingly by the moviemakers.

Obviously she's. Deepika's only problem is her inconsistent accent. Otherwise, she acts well. Very natural actress. She does emotional scenes really well. On the other hand, Alia tries too hard to present herself as a great actress, which she's not. She does nose flaring & shouts like a teenager. Barring 2-3 films, never got the hype around her acting. In every aspect, DP is miles ahead

So it is obvious why you are finding deepika a better actress.

To me , both have their own strengths and weaknesses and both are good at acting. People look weird when they cry their heart out, so as far as anyone can express and convince the feeling, I don’t care about weirdness.

I would like see where deepika cries her heart out.

If it's from a fan's view then it will always be subjective. Even directors at that matter.

On a personal front I find both of them normal on acting range(bekar bhi keh sakte ho) Not something how both their prs would like to present or overhype. Some places dp has done a good job some places Alia has been good. Overall both are average according to me. Emotional scenes debate is going on i find both of their emotional scenes weak. And not talking about just crying but also like invoking emotions. It's majorly because I can't connect with the stories these days bw makes (which both the ladies are part of) Also I think DP is quite good in humor maybe its just me 😉 kjo might not realize but his constant annoying brags about alia do more harm than good for neuts
