I really enjoy reading this forums take on ps 2. Ps 2 is hardly discussed anywhere so this is fun. Am a Kathir Raji fan too. Today's episode was blissful just for their scenes. Cannot tolerate gomathi and thangamayil. Meena occasionally is fine. Others are just props.

Expecting more KR scenes and hoping it's just not that one big scene a week.

But let me start with the family scene. Lol.. oru event manager kupitu ippadi drama pannarangale! What BULLSHIT is it that only Meena would know everything about costs and those running businesses would not know anything? Kathir, who gave the idea of event management co., how could he not know the costs involved? Don't these people use internet? Can Aarasi or Raji not google and find out the basic rates?? Why does Meena have to be this insufferable 'I know it all' ideal woman?? To the point of being an 'omniscient'.

Let me just take a moment and appreciate Dhanam's character graph though. She too was shown as an all knowing superwoman and an outright control freak! But she made mistakes! HUGE mistakes at that. That made her humane. Aana inge, romba overrr aa irruku!!

Portraying one character as sensible at the cost of making other characters dumb is irresponsible writing, Priya Thambi madam!

Now coming to our mosstttt favourite part of today!!! KR Enna thaan solla!! Aavalo supperrrr!! I was alll smillesss at the screen!

But something bugged me.. when she threw the stone and Kumar looked at that direction, it was Kathir standing there. They could have inserted an FB or something where she throws the stone, but Kathir shooed her away from there that very second. That sequence could have been elaborated this way since, it looked misplaced to me.

I loved Raji's replies to Kumar though. The way she said 'enn nagey thaane, un sothu eduthena' was fire! Now, no one will pick up this jewelery matter, I hope.

After a very long time, saw a very smiling Kathir and THAT was a RELIEF! I never saw him smile or laugh to such an extent even with his family since the start of PS2.

He gives up the bed permanently just because she stood up for him. That was so heartwarming. Poor boy is probably more happy that someone actually stood up for him.

I wish makers show something like Kathir realizing how Raji fought for him while his own mother left him defenseless. Raji should keep this up always, even in front of Pandian, and he will surely give up his heart one day too.

It would be awesomee if Kathir starts calling her 'mutta kannu' or 'kadugu' though! Never thought these words could be used in a romantic way, but it will suit KR so so so well!

Ok.. I rewatched that stone throwing scene. When the camera pans to Kathir standing infront, Raji's dupatta is behind him. Either the editor did not notice or that's the way it was intended to be shown. Kathir protecting Raji..

Did you see he looks around when she comes infront of him to protect him against Kumar? That means he was protecting her but suddenly she sprung in front of him to protect him which was surprising to him.

Anyway there is someone to fight for Kathir now and its only going to get better unlike Gomathi who always throws him under the bus. Palanivel pointed out many times that Gomathi has failed to protect her kids from Pandian’s wrath. Gomathi acts all innocent and claims to be a good mamiyar but she is a horrible mother🙄

Tomorrow’s episode synopsis is out in my country. Back to Meena, probably followed by Thangamayil. Meena illama oru episode kooda ivangalukku ezhudha theriyadhu. She is the All in All Axhagu Rani of PS-2 worse than Dhanam I think this week’s KR scenes quota is over🙄🙄

I only wish makers keep up with this attitude of Raji and keeps fighting for and defending Kathir. But does not mean she has to go overboard. Just have the right presence of mind on where and when to pick fights and not end up creating even more trouble for Kathir. Is it too much to ask from you makers?

Gomathi is the.most.horrible.character.of.all.! Period. No amount of whitewashing is gonna make me as a viewer to EVER accept that shit of a character.

Edit - Even that scene where she justifies her decision to Kathir, when I relook at it, it is stupid!

About today’s episode

Meena’s mom came to give her jewelry that she bought for her wedding. When Meena and Gomathi repeatedly asked her to come in, Mom td them that it will take time for them to reconcile married against their wishes and to reunite with her . Basically Mom wanted to show Meena’s status and no one should question that she doesn’t have any jewelry. So Raji is the one going to get brickbats from Kuzhali and Bhagyam (TM’s mom) Both don’t leave a chance to humiliate Meena and Raji but Meena escaped now as she is writers favorite character,

Maari who watched this scene unfold lets Vadivu and Gandhimathi know that Meena got jewelry from her mother. Palanivel who comes there confirms but they all discuss how Kathir-Raji could have lost the jewelry. I really liked how Palanivel supported Kathir and said he would have never done such a thing, blamed Raji for losing the jewelry but took blame himself. Palanivel is on the right track and want him to find the truth soon. Ladies at Vel house seem convinced about Palani’s explanation. He inly had good things to say about Kathir.

I have always mentioned that I really like Vel family ladies, they are reasonable, not stupid like Gomathi, really fond of their children, though they are submisdive to their husbands which is what is irking me. Hope they are shown strong when KR’s marriage truth comes out and openly support Kathir for helping out Raji.

I want the writers to pursue the lost jewelry and get it back from Kannan. In real life no one lets go off lakhs and lakhs worth of jewelry. Since Kumar, Pandian, Vel brothers don’t leave a stone unturned to humiliate Kathir for the lost jewelry, the writers need to get it back to restore Kathir’s name. Though Raji has mellowed and now starting to support Kathir, she has done too much damage to his name for no fault of his.

Meena- Senthil-Gomathi-Raji scene was ok. Meena boasting about her jewelry and how she flaunted it in front of Senthil showed how Meena is not perfect like they are portraying her to be. So SM can have PDA which Gomathi and Raji were embarrassed about and wanted to give them some privacy. Raji called herself chinna pulla and asked SM not do show PDA in front of her Yes, Raji we believe you are a chinna pulla who us 20 years and married Meena was overacting in this scene🙄

Not interested in watching Gold digger’s family and their discussions on hiw they will make Pandian house to pay for their daughter’s expensive saree for the wedding. Thank God, Mom left the sister back at hime, didn’t take her for shopping, else knowing the director there might be a stupid scene with her in the frame🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Now coming to the last scene at Pandian house discussing about the budget for shopping and how much each one are getting for their clothes. Pandian, the hypocrite had the audacity to call out on Kathir when he talked about gauravam while purchasing the wedding saree for TM. Kathir suggested they keep the budget at 25,000 rupees. Pandian really thought about Gauravsm when he eloped and married Gomathi? What a douchebag this man is, ridiculing his own son when he is the root cause for all the problems in the sins lives. Both KR felt bad when Pandian ridiculed Kathir about his gauravsm talk. When the day Pandian comes to know KR’s truth, I just want him to disappear from the face of this earth Gomathi, the dimwit, asked them not to argue and fight. But the idiot should understand that she too is responsible for the mess in KR’s life and the brickbats, humiliation both are going through.
Anyway Pandian-Gomathi are failures as parents and we are going to see how they are going to destroy Saravana’s life by getting him married to a lowlife. The guy all along was happy being single is going to go through hell in the future because of his parents.

Also in the above scene, they had to show Meena’s face multiple times to show her reaction as if only that mattered. How is that only she has questions/dialogues to ask Pandian all the time?🙄🙄🙄 Writers need to to e her down and not make her pike the nose in everyone’s business,

The only scene I liked in today’s episode was Palani supporting Kathir in front of Vel family ladies, they all seem to agree with him too. I want the jewelry to be found, so there us a closure for KR, its a lot of money to let it go in real life.

Surprisingly they showed a precap of tomorrow’s episode where Pandian mistakes 1,00,000 rupees to be 10,000 rupees and like always Meena trying to tell him about the price🙄. Knowing Pandian, he will not believe Meena, will go ahead buy the saree for his favorite DIL, TM. I want TM’s family to take Pandian to the cleaners with this saree shopping
