I also felt they lost plot when they shown that scene as now too if they comes up with marriage drama they will know they are telling lie that's why they may insist them to do all rituals in front of them so that they get caught in their own lie .

Are they going to file defamation case after finding who leaked the pic ? Nahin na so kya aachar delne wale hai culprit find karke.

If they denied it finding culprit would be fine that somebody is trying to defame both of them.

I also don't get why they had to find the real culprit when whatever damage has to be done already happened. Why they want to drag it further now she took back complaint against him and ready to move ahead only thing she has to do is tell him the reason behind lie and move forward.

There was also a scene in the jail (I posted about it earlier today) where she seems relieved when initially Ammu says whatever happened it happened with consent. (Probably wanted to pounce on how bad Ammu is to give consent?) It's the marriage thing that was unexpected for her.

I think she planned with a motive Aaji will do big drama like MS over that leaked pics and she can take advantage of it to brainwash him against them. She was expecting Ammu to be quiet like she did at the time of MS as Aaji always have upper hand over her.Aaji doing police complaint and Ammu being unconscious for a long time worsen the situation also Ishika added to it by bringing ladies. Also her reaction when Bhavani defend Virat was fishy that time but now makes sense as it went against her plan. Marriage promise is a biggest setback for her.
