I have always believed in phasing out reservations over time and at same time ensuring poor have recourses like free education / excellent libraries etc and march steadily towards meritocracy.

SAT has issues but won’t get into it here.

Same yaar, giving scholarships and resources is no problem mujhe bas admission and placement based on reservation Ajeeb lagta hai now, pehle it was fine but now its just getting unfair 🤔

And Rahul Gandhi ke plans saare nation ke against hi sound kar rahe hai to be very honest 🙄

don’t get me started on this. Mainey essays likhey hain yeah topic pe 🤣🤣🤣. When I was applying for college I was so upset. Needed near perfect score to get admissions but reservations ka score for selection was like w t hmas I was general category ….Can’t compromise on quality. The effort for me to get into BITS pilani after which I didn’t even go there for personal reasons was crazy in hindsight but……I have realized that reservations can be used upto a point …

However I have to admit. In hindsight INC never did anything to uplift the masses. Even now they just want to promote reservations. Hence my view is reduce reservations over time by creating resources and facilities for the under privileged. I am also for free education for them including college and as it progresses, less and less reservations. Pvt sector and individuals also must look at “sponsor a kid for life for education” approach. Etc. As I said. I can go on….

And not just reservations. INC wants to redtribute wealth. I just realize recently. They can liquidate Waqf board and distribute that money to all the poor. I have zero issues with that.

Same here, the exam pressure was too much because of this because you can never know even if you get 92 percentile you'll get to IIT as happened this year, it was very sad for the people who took one year drop and scored 92 percentile they didn't made it by 1 percentile and it hurts more because they studied so hard for it and then people with 50 percentile getting into IIt seems just so so so unfair 😔 har saal ki yehi story hai

And I agree free education is way to go, that's best option for this otherwise govt could never take the privileges given to people for 70+ years, no one would like it 🤷
