Ivanga KR promo pottu pottu viewers engage pannaranga.. just a clickbait like you said @mpks1. They are fully aware that KR related promos bring in more views than that of any other characters. Just their strategy to milk the same. But I am not complaining as long as their story remains a focal point.

I am Prema, have been in IF for 13 years (became a member during IPKKND (Hindi) season 1) . My last tamil shows were till 1999, 25 years ago, restarted watching tamil shows only in 2019 with PS-1. I had to take 20 years gap because moved abroad in 1999 from Chennai due to marriage. Later career, kids happened and became busy with real life. I have lived away for 25 years but still very much a Chennai girl and visit every year to see my parents, inlaws, sisters and extended family.

We ask for Kumar-Raji-Kathir trip, they give us a huge promo and 1 scene a week for them, then fill the rest of the episodes with Cringe Saravanan-Thangamayil avanga scene paarka sagikala🤮 Also Thangamayil slowly started to get her away with Saravanan and made him her puppet. He listens to everything she says and wants to fulfill all her wishes, She is the Gold Digger of this show This marriage is starting on lots of lies, cheating and on a wrong note, I don’t know who will be devastated more- Pandian or Saravanan

I am done with crybaby Raji, enough of her tears. We need the spunky, feisty girl whom we saw before marriage especially how cleverly she hid Kannan from her family, was ready to fight Kathir at the drop of a hat, told him off several times (she needs to apologize to him for getting him trouble many times so she can hide her affair) Infact only Kathir and to some extent Palanivel knew about her affair. Now Gomathi and Meena also know. Let’s see to what extent Raji will go to take this marriage forward and find a place in Kathir’s heart. Kathir should also see Raji indeed learnt from her mistakes and changing for the better.

On today’s episode.

Din’t want to talk about Pandian’s partiality, he has a different set of rules for Saravanan-TM because he brought them together. The main is reeking if hypocrisy from top to bottom, he needs a huge lesson to come down from his high horse. The way he treats his children differently is appalling. Senthil abd Kathir are treated like a piece of crap while Kuzhali, Saravanan, Arasi are kept at a pedestal, Idiot doesn’t even have the guts to stop his own daughter from commenting on Meena and Raji, what can you expect from such a Moron of the first order.

Not going to comment on yet another cheap, thuggish behavior of Kumaravel. Acan oru theru porukki thaan, appan panathila oru velayum seiyama friendsoda sernthu oodhari thanam selavu panni ooru suthura kazhudhai. Ivanellam oru aalu, chi!

Kathir’s explanation of not reacting is absolutely correct. If he did he might lose the job and he needs the money as Pandian would not give a penny to him, further curse and show more hatred on him.

I liked how Raji became furious after coming to know what Kumar did. She straight marched to Kathir and confronted him In 6 months they have come a long way. Even right after the marriage,(its been 3 months) Kathir could not stand her, would always chase her away when she approached to talk to him. But now he is listening to her and even making her understand why he didn’t go after Kumar right away. One thing that was ascertained that not only Kumar but he has no respect for Raji’s father or even his other uncle. It is going to be a long time before the relationship starts to mend.

And the last scene about Senthil-Meena’s ordeal on distributing invitations, later Pandian calling fir a family meeting where only what he says or thinks will be put forth. No one should have any other opinion. Wait TM is coming to change all that She is going to veto everything Pandian says or does

I like how Kathir-Raji are standing up for each other but that’s not enough, start showing conversations between them like how KM had. I don’t want them just talk about who is going to sleep on the bed and who is going to sleep on the floor. Raji is making an effort to talk about other things, atleast checking on his injury, inquiring about it, but all Kathir wants to do is sleep, “ light off pannu ma romba tireda irrukku, ennakku thoonganum”

Last 4 minutes - Gomathi, Meena, Raji and Palanivel, Meena’s mom came to give her jewelry.

First 10 minutes was spent on why 3 day wedding which includes Haldi, Mehendi, Mappilai azhaippu in a car, wedding and reception in a garden is a total waste of money senthil called the event management guy and he quoted 40 Lakhs after listening to Pandian family’s demands and requirements and Pandian’s budget was 5 Lakhs that too he us expecting TM’s family to pit h in 2.5 Lakhs (which is not happening) Didn’t Pandian say he is going to use the money that he saved up for Kathir and Senthil’s marriage for Saravanan? Appo kuda budget 2.5 Lakhs thaana? Pandian Bayangara kanjam 2.5 Lakhsla 3 perukku kalyanam panna plan panni irukaan TM family matha 2.5 Lakhskku namam poda poranga
Both Pandian and Gomathi rejected the idea and Pandian insisted that they will go with the OG plan of just the wedding and reception and finish it in one day. Meena and Raji had the last laught at the expense of Pandian and Gomathi, Moreover Meena, rubbed it in and said, “ I told you so, it will cost a lot” They have to give Meena, a dialogue in every scene as she is the only soeaking authority and always says the right thing while others are dumbed down.

Pandian insulting Palanivel during this scene is again a low blow. The man has no respect for others feelings. The writers should be careful not to demean the character which is one of the most sensible one in this show. Pandian on the other hand comes across, uncouth, crass, uneducated, egotistical hypocrite. Saravanan agreed to not having 3-day marriage but I can see the concern in his face on how to break it down to TM who considers herself, a Queen Bee 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 I am surprised even Kathir agreed that 40 Lakhs is a lot of money to spend on a wedding. He even suggested that the brothers will try to talk to Pandian but Saravanan vetoed it, The comical part was the event management guy whp pro ised that they can do anything and everything to meet the client’s requirements

Last 4 minutes - Gomathi, Meena, Raji, Palanivel. It was a nice scene and everyone did their part well, showed the bonding between Gomathi-Meena-Raji-Palanivel.

Meena’s mom came towards the end, didn’t go inside when Meena called her instead came to give her the jewelry all the while Maari watched the whole thing from across the street. Will Meena’s mom giving jewelry to her pose a problem for Raji again as she is the one without any jewelry and Kuzhali will be even more rude to her while Gomathi and Pandian will be watching their daughter insulting their DIL. We all know TM is going to bring all fake jewelry bit Pandian thinks they are a royal family as he found them, moreover anything they do or say will be excused again because they are his choice

With this if KR are able to retrieve atleast the jewelry from Kannan, that will be great because Kumar again brought up the topic on jewelry whole Raji confronted him. It is sad to see Kathir still being blamed for it🙄

KR scene today 😍😍😍😍😍

3 minutes was about Raji confronting Kumar and 3 minutes of KR scene in the room. After Raji threw the stone at Kumar, where did she disappear, Kathir came in place of her and looking around to see where she went after throwing the stone bit she reappeared when Kumar came to hit Kathir. Raji gave back to Kumar, left, right and center. The guy deserved it fir acting like a porukki. Kathir all the while had this puzzled look as to what his wife is capable of Akash had amazing quick change in expressions when Raji turned to look at him after she chased Kumar away, Kathir was even scared of Raji, when she asked him authoritatively, “Enna”

Later in the room He could not control his laughter and their cute conversation was heartwarming to see. Raji put up a tough face and even reasoned that she didn’t do all this because she has some affection for Kathir instead confronted Kumar only because she didn’t want him troubling others around her because of her (She thinks Kumar is taking revenge on others as he is angry with her) Yes Raji, we believe you when you said you don’t have any affection towards Kathir Kathir too intently listened to all her explanations and reasoning to confront Kumar with a smile on his face He decided to give her the bed to sleep permanently while he will sleep on the floor. When they settled down to sleep, he lifted his head one last time to see but got scared as soon as Raji stated at him while he turned his head away and continued to smile and shake his head. He still can’t believe that his Kadugu size wife ippadi egiri egiri sanda podra and realized she is not easy to tackle Again it was heartwarming to see Raji also smiling at the end looking at Kathir who has turned to the other side It was a blissful 6 minutes, hope this leads to some conversations between them. Also like how Raji still calls Kathir in Singular noun as opposed to “ neenga, vaanga, ponga” Let her be the Meena of PS-1 calling her husband nee, vaa, po, ennada, dei Kathir etc etc The best part of this scene is that there was no Meena present to spoil it

Kathir’s smile was heartwarming to see. He indeed looked surprised and smitten by Raji’s behavior. Hope writers don’t become bipolar again and make Kathir angry at Raji. Both have had miserable 3 months, let there be some positivity in their lives. Though I am much older, have kids in KR’s age, they are like my children, want them to move forward burying their past. I am feeling like Gomathi here. BTW, I am much much younger to Nirosha in real life plus got married at a very young age and kids happened too

Kudos to Akash for nailing both the scenes with his expressions and Shalini likewise was topnotch in showing Raji’s fiery side and becoming soft towards the end.
