I think Roopkatha in kusum dola was not two faced like bhabhi. Rono knew very well about her intention and she was pure evil to Rono and Imon. So it was easier to handle.

Here things are unbearable because of Pendulum sa and him defending lusty bhabhi.

RK was the most positive out of all vamps … she genuinely moved on with her husband.. she loved Rono but valued and respected her husband too .. she had her own Maan abhimaan equation with her hubby ..

she helped imon during her most difficult day her child birth gave her strength to live and survive for the child .. she fought with Rono publicly in hospital for disrespecting imon ..

her illness and inability to bear a child and badshah ‘s death resulted in her negativity later on .  
It also helped she was a better actress .. plus she had a hit show with the ML before .. so public found it easier to accept her as a former lover 

I doubt they will make ruhi follow roop katha she is playing Abhira’s older cousin but her acting is immature
